- The highly anticipated second episode is finally here!
Attack! Andros (Christopher Khayman Lee) and the Red Raiders continue their assault on the high governing Galactica Coalition and its leader, the Premiere, in hopes of saving Morphin Grid from dying. The Coalition, on the other hand, have already set in motion a new project which will tip the scale in their favor. The Red Raiders will need help if they stand a chance against this new threat. Glory to the Red Raiders!

Well...I will say that there's plenty of questions to be asked but all I suspect is the usual "all will be revealed in due time" response. Trying to bypass selection of the Grid, manipulation of grid energy, family ties, Project Manticore and the basis behind it...makes me seriously question, who is pulling the strings of which individual? I love a good mystery and a good puzzle to keep me guessing.
"Shift into Space, let's Rocket!"? That's an interesting Morphing call.

I just see the real Ranger actors and their credits and think "Wow, how'd they get them here?" This is amazing.

This is a real PR equivalent of Gokaiger. More than the shame called Super Megaforce
Perfect blend between the classic rangers campiness and humor, and a more mature grit. Really solid fight choreo and editing for the fight scenes. Can't wait to see more.

You love to see old and new generations of Rangers interacting! It really shows the difference between the old and new and shows how far Power Rangers has come, for better or worse!

@@PrimeDirectivesArmory I liked that Deven and Andros were good friends! Plus, the bit between DJ and Betty was funny, funnier than most of Ben and Betty’s shtick in Beast Morphers! It honestly felt way more natural!

Lex Lang - Amazing VA choice for ecliptor. Great direction in this episode from DJ, Roger back as Carlos, morphenomenal...but, the possibility of Andros and Karone as Ecliptor's children is gold. Makes fans look back at SPACE and Ecliptors father figure role to Astronema and his relationship with andros during that time. Now it has a 'Sins of the Father' aspect to it. Real Ranger gold here guys, thanks for all of your work.
I definitely wasn't expecting that Andros/Karone/Ecliptor twist.
This has been my favorite episode of the series so far! The overall quality has vastly improved, and I loved seeing how Vergil/Psycho Red joined the Red Raiders! In addition to the hype of seeing TK morph for the first time, his Ranger powers were showcased brilliantly and demonstrated how much of a force of nature he could be were he not restricted by limited morphs.
Plus, seeing the return of Carlos and seeing the tie-ins to Shattered Past through R1-Omega was a treat to watch while also providing insight to Andros's motivations and seeing things through Zhane's perspective.
Not to mention the biggest bombshell for me personally, Devon and Betty from Beast Morphers making an appearance! Seeing them arrive made my mind explode, and they really fit into the story well! Betty and TK are the best duo, no cap. I don't know who the person attacking their ship at the end is, so if anyone could clue me in, that would be great. But overall, a solid episode! I look forward to seeing where this fan project goes in the future!

I honestly feel like this is one of the best fan made shows ever. Effects are industry grade, all they need is some "Kalishplosion" and its all good 🤣But its definitely good to see some old faces in this, giving back to the Ranger community.
this was the way power rangers was meant to be seen and heard: EMOTIONAL, with swearing, graphic violence and gore!!! GEAHAHHAHHHAHAHAH! oh and whens episode 3?!??!

I love to see ranger powers combine, MMPR red with dragon shield, Drakkon and now Turbo-space ranger. That's cool

These first two episodes just reignited my passion for the In Space season. Y’all took my favorite season as a kid and turned it up to 100! Can’t wait for the next episode!
Worth the wait I'll admit. Can't wait to see the what you guys do to explain the Ecliptor connection my minds already going through the different possibilities for how it could be possible.
There’s a feeling I got in my gut that all stories are leading to something big
So far we have 2 alternate timelines that involved the CTD (Countdown To Destruction) War and also has an OP Andros on both. Bloodline of the Grid and the Psycho Menace.
As impressive as it is to see the old cast acting again (and not just the In Space people - it was almost surreal to see Devon and Betty looking fresh out of their season, it's a stark contrast to how Andros and Zhane aged and changed), gotta give mad props to Patrick David in particular for the charisma, the energy, he brings to the role. Haughty sociopaths who laugh all the time are most often irritating; it takes talent to play one with enough charm that you genuinely want to see more of him on screen, not less. The first half of the very first scene has a few moments that feel overdone, but you can see the moment Patrick David settles (re-settles?) into the role, and from that point onwards, his Psycho Red is a delight to watch in every scene he's in.
Unlike Zhane (who hasn't changed a bit) and even Andros (who changed a lot, but you can see his trajectory - and he's been a maverick and a risk-taker even in his original appearances), this Psycho Red doesn't feel the same as the character that I remember from In Space and Lost Galaxy. But it's a good thing, not a bad thing - the original didn't have that much of a personality to begin with. And between Deviot's tampering, a string of deaths and defeats, the comic book events (that are explicitly referenced with the "Virgil" name), and the amount of time that has passed, it makes sense that even a Psycho has grown as a person.

(I've also enjoyed Sam's "Whoop-dee-doo, is this the point where the authority I've been working with tries to fucking arrest me or take away my morpher? Do I look like I've got nothing better to do than fight my way out of custody?" attitude. Guy's clearly been around the block.)

In Space was and always will be my absolute favorite. Andros may play things close to the chest when he’s on the mission, but his mission is always for the greater good. I’m definitely team Raiders.

Absolutely incredible. From the love of the source material to the In Space Season 2 I didn't know we needed. The crossovers and legacy rangers along with original characters make for an awesome combination. This is the Power Rangers we need as adults.

This is my favorite fan series and there only 2 episodes. The acting, visual effects, script and even suspense. Please don’t keep us waiting a whole year for the next episode. I absolutely love the uncle nephew dynamic of this amazing show.

Good stuff here. A lot of these story threads are things I remember CKL mentioning a few times in old interviews as things he would've liked to see play out on TV so it's nice to see him get the opportunity to flesh them out. Definitely looking forward to future episodes.

This keeps on gettin better and better. The CTD War? Ecliptor having children? Two? The SPACESHIP?!?! It’s giving Star Trek and Star Wars at the same fuckin time. Zane is AMAZING. Really impressed with him this episode. Psycho Red is such a bitch and I love it!!!!! And he’s cute. He’s fucking HOT. This is the continuation of In Space that was well needed and deserved. This is how you continue a story and be faithful to the canon and lore.

His children are Andros and Karone. I wonder what does it mean. I know he was a stepfatger of Karone but how can he be connected to Andros
@@tetsuyatsurugi9250 all due respect, I still don’t see how. Remember in the CTD War (love this term btw) where Andros defeats Astronema and Ecliptor says that he loved her LIKE a daughter? How does this translate? Astronema has the power of Wrath. Andros wears the same emblem that she did, so they are both dark sided in a way. I assumed that the Wrath Staff was given to her by Darl Specter, not Ecliptor. Granted, he did train her. But idk how they will translate into them being his children. This breaks my head canon 😅😅
@@iamthedarkmagician475 I think it's possible that Ecliptor left his wife/lover back when she was pregnant with their child. After which, said wife/lover probably moved to KO-35 before Karone was born (or maybe left both Andros and Karone in the care of KO-35 people after they were born).
Also, how Ecliptor treated Karone like a daughter during In Space can easily be explained as his natural fatherly instincts kicking in without him knowing that she was actually his biological daughter.
@@axceljulio5747 Or it could be a different timeline coinciding with this universe. Since this story is part of the Multiverse of Power Rangers. This timeline, Andros & TK are fighting Krybots (SPD Minions), instead of fighting Quantrons from In Space or Cogs in Zeo, and also teaming up with Psycho Red. So one question on my mind is how did Karone in this timeline died, but she survived in the original timeline?
@@omarcogle1965 from what I gathered in spd krybots are basically meant to be robotic mercenaries that you can buy. The ones here are probably custom government contracted made ones

Alright, this was always a good series with endless potential. But the way you've incorporated the comics which fill in holes of information we didnt have before is amazing this is episode is a masterpiece.

This was definitely worth the wait, can’t wait for the next episode. I like how this has some tie in with the comics like with Psycho Red aka Vergil wanting to restore the other Psychos (his family) back. I hope we learn what happened to Karone and how Andros got Ecliptor’s powers

You could look up "Shattered Past" and "rise of the ninja". TJ and Omega ranger are in shattered past, and its connected to rise of the ninja.
