I used to work (restore) on real pre ww 2 vintage racecars with this style of lever/ disc spring setup. It is very wallowy on modern asfalt/tarmac roads, but on old- timey hard packed dirt roads or cobled streets, it is actually very comfy , and it helps with top speed and cornering. It's very finicky to get it tensioned properly. Any left/right difference in brake force affect affects it allot, but it can also accommodate for driver/passenger weight per side. It also seems to never break or wear out.

i’d buy it for that alone.
Doubtful on a public release
If I could scoop one up, possibly a old school lakes speedster or Bonneville car
@@shaynejenkins446 traxxas wouldn’t waste time, engineering, and part molds for a limited run chassis. that’s not good business unless snap on is footing the bill. and given their track record they aren’t gonna
@@chucktaylor2772 bonneville would be sick
Like the Ultimate Hualer it will be availble sans Snap On logos eventually is my guess.
TRAXXAS NEEDS TO MAKE THE MILLER SPECIAL ONE FROM BACK IN THAT ERA. 😉😉😉👍👍👍👍👍
Dirt oval sprint series racing would be a lot of fun.
would love to see one in person
1/5 scale would be amazing
That thing is so weird and cool. And I think Patrick Stewart has actually done some vintage racing.
Hi guys, noob question incoming, I have an Harbody D90 got 2nd hand, so by naute the mod ideas are streaming in to make it my own, but stuck on one thing, what do i use to remove old paint from the hardbody without causing damage to it. since colour change will happen just don't have 3 layers of paint on it. TX
Purple Power cleaner in a big bucket. Soak for 24 hours. Good luck and welcome to the hobby!
It needs a Mr Peanut driver!!
Im gunna go talk to my friend whos. Snap on distributor . Im not a rc guy . This video caught my eye . When i was 12 i got a rustler and put a brushless on it . But this thing is soooo cool . Id buy it as a collector's item
Yeah, it's definitely a collector's item! Good luck getting one and thanks for watching!
I just want the front suspension so that I can build other hot rods. If they just put out the parts they would sell tons to use scratch builders.
You + Limited Edition RC Cars + Curbs = DO NOT RUN THIS THING
Ha! Good call!
You should print and detail and time accurate racer for a driver.
These are basically just collectors pieces imo. There's a few in my area selling at no less than $1,200-$1,500. That's crazy
Make it production - i want this!
Would make an awesome slingshot dragster
So far looks like a collectible, but if they do make more I am with you probably
Love your videos, I told my Traxxas dealer to put me on the list! I want to be one of the first to own one! Also to Traxxas, make a driver for this. Go the extra mile and have era style clothes with scarf and goggles!!!!
If traxxas makes this a regular's platform, i would make it into a belly racer
That looks awesome!
Does that short vertical drive shaft telescope? How does it deal with suspension travel? Cool RC.
not well
Yes it does!
