Good job with all the editing Felix! Really feels like quite a journey. Also Laura being brought to tears with happiness is much deserved and awesome to see.
I think being only 5% over budget and 30% over time is quite impressive really, especially given all the water problems. Certainly puts crossrail & brandenberg airport to shame!
20% over budget, but yes, pretty impressive! 10k€ is quite a tight budget to be building a great tiny house! Especially as everything is getting pricier and pricier 😅
+ Factoring in all the materials that had to get replaced after the water damage, it was bound to make a bigger dent in the budget than what she had planned
“Only share the space with things that you like!” - Laura Kampf when you said this it just was perfect. Great series, looking forward to the continuation of Haus Lisse Lotte (hope I spelled that correctly😊)
Laura gets so much joy from doing what she does, no setback ever permanently sets her back, and she's always willing to learn -- that's why so many experts want to help her, and that's why so people come here every week. 👏🏻
Lieslottel 🤝 Tiny House Water damage But seriously, love the passion that Laura puts into everything she builds, and it so shows when she finishes something and just basks in it's beauty! Love, love, love!!!
We aren't friends or anything, but what you create and the way you share it bring me so much joy, I can't even describe it. Your aestethic and philosophy echo so deep in me. Thank you for everything.
Hey Laura. I just want you to know that you've given me the confidence and motivation to get on with my own woodworking projects. They are not as impressive as yours but I'm really proud of them. Thank you! 😊
Ich finde es toll, dass Felix so begeistert ist. Er sagt nach jeder Sache, die Laura ihm zeigt, "Mega cool!" oder "Perfekt!". Was für ein toller Freund.
Such a great build series. My favorite part is always seeing the unbridled joy on your face when you finish a part and it's perfect for you. I think that's the whole point, to do things that bring you happiness. Can't wait to see the porch and yard improvements, but also looking forward to getting back into Liselotte. Thanks for sharing!
This is the recap episode we all needed. It was really good to remember how much you overcame after the water damage and to see the whole build in one video. Congrats!
I've watched this series on the tiny house each week as a new chapter was released. I thought I'd go through withdrawal when you had to set aside work on the Big House for the winter, but this series has been such a joy! This wrap up episode is like a nice icing on the finished cake, though not quite because, as you say, it's never really finished. I so agree with you that looking at a thing every day -- especially a thing that you made yourself -- is both really rewarding, but also inspiring; leading to new ideas on how to make things even better.
I feel like your houses are our houses, too...having accompanied you on your journeys. I found your channel right after you bought the big house and have been hooked since. Your videos start Sunday morning at 9am for me...and I can't wait for each new adventure to start. ♥️
Love those moments when you seem soooo Surprised that the lights work, or the siding fits, or a drawer slides or water runs from your tap etc…and soooo excited! Absolutely great team!
Ja, here's what I learned while watching this whole build series. Do things that make me happy. I love to build "things" that solve problems. I don't like being asked to make things for others, but I love making things for others when it makes me happy. It's a big difference. And......I shout "GEIL"!!! all the time now in my shop because it makes me happy too!
Love the recap, especially seeing Laura so happy!! But but but, I'm not done seeing the progress on the little house: I want to see the deck built and the BBQ and coffee etc! But the big house is also fascinating....oh Laura you just know people are going to watch because everything you do is inventive and exciting!!! THANK YOU!!
The tiny house is beautiful, I love the colors and materials. Your whole attitude through all of this is inspiring, especially during the worst parts of discovering the water damage. I’m sure there were tears of frustration but at the end of each video there is always a smile. Thank you for sharing your weekly story, your positive vibes and kindness are truly needed in the world today. ✌🏼&❤️from Michigan.
Congratulations on Lisse Little! 'Imagine how much a helicopter cost?' is shirt worthy!! I hope your little house does what it says on the box and you get many more hours of enjoyment in the making of, and living in it.
I love your miracles of taking pieces others would discard and creating joy and beauty out of it. Your tiny house is a perfect little gem and I'm so glad I found your channel - it brightens my day! PS - after I found you it gave me a reason to binge-watch lots of your back stories and I still haven't seen them all.
Love that Felix doesn’t seem too confident with his English but he nailed the cuss words😂 Well done Laura and company, can’t wait to see how you finish the big house!
Love it! Question. How many times does Laura say “I’m so happy” vs “shit” in her episodes? Sooooooo real-life (the ups and downs) but she always manages to keep a happy disposition. Thank you for my weekly dose of “there is still some happiness in the world”. 💖
Its not only what you, but how you do it. So much joy and fun, learning from errors, solving problems. Great Idea to start with tiny house. Lucky us that you share your work with us. All the family waiting for your sunday videos. Herzlichen Dank Laura und Félix!!!!
Love the journey and build. The built is are beautiful. Water is one of the most difficult things to mange in structures. Am architect of 35+ years, and I believe you may still have missed some flashing at the first/lowest exterior shingle course, and around openings (headers, side flashing and sills.) Also, worth using water resistant sill plates. Other good UA-camrs show how to flash around openings and penetrations to direct water away in walls - to slow rot and water penetration. Certain sheathing products (DensGlas) are also better than that black tar building paper at resisting water, and won’t harbor mold.
Laura, your resilience and perseverance are so commandable. From the start with Liselotte to the tiny house, I don't know how many times I would have given up.
Sounds like you need to create a BBQ area for the summer! I adore you and your work (especially when you do collabs with Simone) - I watch your videos every week religiously. You and Felix are a blast, can't wait to see what comes next! 🖤
I love this series. It makes me miss my old Bauwagen which I had to move out from so, so, so much. Watching you create a surrounding that fits your needs and wishes reminds me of doing the same. When I did it it Was all about integrating the furniture I inherited from my grand a and great aunts - quite a challenge. Some day I will build my own little home again, I hope. Enjoy Lieselittle and the incoming springtime! They will make a perfect match.
Forgot to mention, but shouldn't: The editing is beautiful and it's enjoyable to witness the great chemistry between you and Felix. Always good to feel some team spirit.
I guess YT suggested your channel to me because of my passion for tiny houses. It was already a few years ago, and I stayed even when it was not about tiny, because I appreciate what you do, your philosophy, and your personality :) Thanks for everything Laura, and Felix too, who brings a lot of good mood I think, plus beautiful pictures.
The house is absolutely stunning, but wouldn't want to have it unless I could experience the Joy you shared in the Journey. The laughter came from the depths of your Soul and it was infectious. Thank you for sharing. With kind regards from Seattle WA
BRAVO! It was so much fun watching your carpentry skills, problem solving skills, but my favorite part of the videos is your laughter through good times and bad! You're amazing 🔨🪚🔧🪛🗜📐
Awesome videos summary! I lode small living also. Sold my house, bought a Motorhome and built my Jeep. Renovated the rv and built a fulltime overland Jeep. I don't regret anything I've done to get where I am today. You have done an amazing job and your patience and persistence has paid big. Enjoy every inch of it woman.. Now lets get to the big house!! God bless
Hey Laura, now that you're in a semi-permanent location I would highly recommend getting the tires off the ground. This is a thing that car people do in the winter when they "store" their summer cars that they don't want to have driving around on salted roads. Either that or you want to think about spinning the wheels ever few weeks. If they sit on the ground statically for too long they will flatspot, and then the rubber will harden and get ruined. At some point your tires will no longer be tires. So in that vein, a set of 4 screw jacks each a few feet in from the corners would be ideal to support the frame and keep your tires lasting longer.
I really like your videos, I'm learning English and I love how you build and the imagination you have besides that the way you show yourself so sincere and your personality I like a lot. greetings from Colombia I never miss any of your videos.
Thank you for making our Sundays so wholesome! Lately I'm always getting emotional when I see you and the whole team cheering after a job well done, or after a mishap 😅 solved. And this Felix edition showing all is FANTABULOUS, remembering all those weeks of hard work has been a blast. You are a big inspiration, Laura! Keep finding beauty in every defect 🤩
Laura, you're not only a great maker, but also a wonderful human being. Always a pleasure to see your joy and excitement. I think you're also very lucky to have such a great support team. Felix does amazing videos. Thank you.
Truly amazing and so inspirational! It is not the size of a project that we like but your enthusiasm which seems to have no bounds! Little house or huge sprawling estate home, you are truly a joy to watch, thank you!
It's so fun watching you have fun and make things you love from reclaimed materials. Thank you for sharing the journey of Lise Little. I can't wait to see more from Lise Lotte!
I've watched every episode of your tiny house adventure, and loved it all - especially the mistakes and problem-solving along the way, and all delivered with your trademark humour. Thank you (both) for all your hard work in sharing this journey. I'm really looking forward to what unfolds in your journey with the big house as the weather improves. Thank you Laura and Felix xx
Such an amazing video! Not only is it an incredible build and beautifully done, but it so nice to witness your satisfaction and how you materialise your imagination so well!! Beautiful! Keep on rocking!
Laura, I love to see you enjoying the new stuff that you juste made, which solves a problem or brings comfort. This is for me the best markers' satisfaction. ❤❤❤
Love the idea of having it in your backyard - have designed a few reading sheds on paper- a get away shed to read and listen to music with large windows to enjoy the garden beds - then like a duplex have a garden tool storage side on the back of the shed with a gardening potting table. .
Ever since I subscribed to this channel I’ve ALWAYS loved Laura’s creativity but I’ve always loved her sense of humor during her projects. Laura, your videos have been so awesome to watch!!! Thank you for sharing. ❤
My wife and I lived on a narrowboat (18m x 2m) in England for three years and so I have thoroughly enjoyed this series of videos, I'll probably watch them again a few times!
Persistence and perseverance and determination all come to mind when I recall all of the obstacles you had to overcome to create your tiny home. May it always be a joy and comfortable sanctuary.

The weather was to bad in Germany for Woodwork but not to late for a solid "SHEET METAL ROOF" :D
It was so cool to work with Laura
You did a wonderful job, it was so nice to see your version on your channel too.
You know how annoying it is when rain drops falling on a Metall sheet roof? 🙄
@@maaiphilippe4340 oh thank you

Please, please ,show when you do the outside space for the tiny house .Looking forward to seeing you sitting in the sun x
This one was really a "How well does Felix log his video?" one! Turns out he logs as well as he edits. Awesome work, as always!
