It was really special to hear about the thoughtfulness & creativity that goes into creating these very intentionally made tiny homes. Wondrous use of geometry, building materials, space, weight, and design. Lovely!
I really like that "magical" touch of some tiny houses like this one, it looks so small on the outside, but once you step in it doubles in size! thanks for another great chapter Bryce, looking forward to the next one :))
Randy - But as Thomas stated, the large RVs that are popular in the U.S. are too big in dimensions for Europe (narrow streets, parking, etc.) and, in France at least, too heavy as there is a strict weight limitation for road use.
This house reminded me when I was obsessed with tiny living and I was designing a lot of ideas. In my country there is a weight limit you can drive with basic driving licence so I designed a tiny house trailer 1x1,7m that would fit within the limit. It had a wardrobe, desk, bed, kitchen, and wet bathroom. Everything was designed to be collapsible. Never went through with it due the cost of building it. It's easier to convert a van. Also it didn't have windows but I imagined some solution to make the roof transparent. Everything stayed only on paper. As it mostly does
Everything in life is a serious of a small steps. You've already done more than most in designing it. Continue to take the next steps. To build it, might take 10 years of slowly building, slowly, acquiring the materials, via reclaiming, In the end it's the reward of the journey of discovery, not the instant gratification of buying everything new with funds from a bank loan. Onward.
If you're still in Europe.. I just seen a tiny house island in Amsterdam. It's near Sloterdijk station on the way to the city. When I say island, it's land with lots of tiny houses surrounded by little canals. It's lovely to look as you pass by. It might be for older people
I really like - scratch that - love this design. Saw some new things with this tiny house. It really looks larger inside than you would think. Hope this one makes the Best of 2020 list!
I could finally say I found my most favorite tiny house! Small but spacious. And the details are superb. I love the cozy couch and how the ladder acts as a barrierr for the shelf and so does the table. The sink and stove is also clever. Im not a fan of many windows and this is perfect because of the sense of security it gives. Really thankful for sharing this great find❤
This has to be one of the most innovative designs ever! For something so compact, to offer so very much on the inside, thoughtfully designed, really, thinking of everything. The light and space is truly wonderful. This, I could live in! 💕
This is breathtaking! How much space he got into such a tiny Tiny House!😲 the design is really clever and you got everything you need.❤ it feels way much bigger from the inside and is very bright, even with such small windows.👍
I don't think I have ever been so excited by a ladder !!!! The fact it is part of the "library" and then can be used to access the loft is one of those "oh wow" moments when you know that nothing will ever be the same again ; ladders can be libraries ! It doesn't get better than this :)
omg 😍 I want this house and especially when its in such a lovely location right at the coast! Those really tiny houses are becoming my favorites, because when you think about it, you don't really need more space, maybe running water in the bathroom, but other than that, houses like this don't distract you from living, they actually force you to live a creative and fulfilling life.
All we need is just this house, it has everything, we need in a home and nothing short, brilliant perfect designed tiny house ..... No frills No housekeeping needed .....bravo !

A v cleverly built a spacious tiny house. A unique construction method out of natural metirials. Hats off to this man.. The light colors n sensible designing not only looks spacious but has two bedroom as well.
This one is actually very inspiring... because some tiny houses, becoming too complicated they just try to mimic the ordinary house, but this one looks like fresh breeze, it is heart and soul of living big in a small house... something from H.Toro...I love this... the water pump, cheese clue, burned wood, clever table, everything
I think it's such a brilliant element. I always worry when I see homes with loft beds about what happens when you break your arm, or your ankle or you're sick, or dizzy or drunk or pregnant. All these things might prevent you from climbing safely up to your bed so having a couch that size, you can always sleep there!

Amazing home. Love the geometry and use of natural materials. So good that it is relatively easy to tow with a normal large vehicle. I would love to tour Europe with one of these. Thanks Bryce and Rasa
When I saw the thumbnail, I thought “OK this one is just too small, I have to see” but I am surprised to say that this is the first tiny home I really get!! It doesn’t try to be anything it’s not. It’s just literally a little sanctuary shelter, to fit perfectly in the lifestyle of someone who would happily spend most of their time outside or on the road.
I love the thought and planning that went into this little house, choosing natural materials, glue, etc I was a bit sceptical if there was enough space to swing a cat, but it is so well designed, one does not feel cramped at all
The best one yet. The builder has thought through everything in these tiny houses. I expecially like the way he installed the roofing panels at the valley. I don't know why I never thought of that before, but it is a great way to get the valley drain without putting in a valley separately from the roofing. It seems he has really spent a lot of time working out every detail to the ultimate solution. He should open a factory in the US and become a world supplier. The exterior is so well detailed that it looks almost machined. Excellent in every way. This one reminds me of the other recent French tiny house that you recently featured - it was also very well detailed and constructed.
Wow, this is just beautiful! It is so small, but so VERY PEACEFUL! Interestingly enough, I think I would chose this over some of the larger ones. It just seems so simple, uncluttered, yet very functional. I also appreciate the man's attitude towards building them, not so serious even though he knows it is important. Great job on the video!

Thanks so much! I'm so glad our videos can help to lift your spirits!
Me too. I love watching Bryce and Living Big in a Tiny House to ‘lift’ my heart and spirit.
@Randy Hickey I literally was about to write the same comment. those lenses are making the difference in all of his videos!
@Randy Hickey they sure are way better, more roomy, and practical.
@Randy Hickey I have a 5th wheel I would gladly trade for one of these.
@@abdobouchareb6791 :Hey, guys. They are for sale. Go getcha one.
Randy - But as Thomas stated, the large RVs that are popular in the U.S. are too big in dimensions for Europe (narrow streets, parking, etc.) and, in France at least, too heavy as there is a strict weight limitation for road use.
Probably the most cleverly designed and built tiny house I have seen so far.
As it mostly does
what country are you in kamila

Transparent roof sounds absolutely perfect to look at the stars in the night sky ✨
Onward.
@@Yotrek - lovely encouraging reply... bless yr kind heart... sound of a real MAN...
This is my favorite tiny, tiny house ever. So beautiful.
If you're still in Europe.. I just seen a tiny house island in Amsterdam. It's near Sloterdijk station on the way to the city. When I say island, it's land with lots of tiny houses surrounded by little canals. It's lovely to look as you pass by. It might be for older people
You should visit Marjolein in het Klein. She's the Tiny House guru in the Netherlands.
Rawbina I would love to see a video of these tiny houses on an island! Sounds great
Sounds you like you smoked too much weed in Amsterdam... started seeing tiny houses everywhere - lol
Why would it be for older people?
@Rawbina Khan , I live in Amsterdam and really want to live in a tiny house here. Do you have more information on the location of these tinyhouses?
I really like - scratch that - love this design. Saw some new things with this tiny house. It really looks larger inside than you would think. Hope this one makes the Best of 2020 list!
It did! I came here from there!
He's a clever man
Yes plus real building talent... way he talk, explain...
There is something called: wide angle lenses!
lisn
I don't think I have ever been so excited by a ladder !!!! The fact it is part of the "library" and then can be used to access the loft is one of those "oh wow" moments when you know that nothing will ever be the same again ; ladders can be libraries ! It doesn't get better than this :)
I feel you!!!
"If it's easy, the human just do it" - so true!
omg 😍 I want this house and especially when its in such a lovely location right at the coast! Those really tiny houses are becoming my favorites, because when you think about it, you don't really need more space, maybe running water in the bathroom, but other than that, houses like this don't distract you from living, they actually force you to live a creative and fulfilling life.
This old gal from the USA loves your beautiful, beautiful home. So well thought out and so peaceful. Very well done young man.
All we need is just this house, it has everything, we need in a home and nothing short, brilliant perfect designed tiny house ..... No frills No housekeeping needed .....bravo !
I design the shells for tiny houses -- but not on wheels yet. I am working on a online program that will help people get the construction tackled, and will be offering it free. Hopefully it will help people get started!
I have been watching the development of that tool, looks awesome! Can't wait to build something tiny next year :-)
Planet Mojo Hola, tu tienes planos de diseño ó arquitectura de éstas Tinyhouses..!?
@ -- Yes. I plan to put the tool online for free, and the tool itself will generate plans and/or cut-lists.
Planet Mojo I’m actually looking to build a tiny house not on wheels on a plot of land I own.
@@MarcP5267 -- That is what I am starting with -- fixed house design capabilities. Do you have an Idea what type of foundation you will be using?
It's the best tiny house I've seen so far... It's really tiny, beautiful and off grid.
Thank you Bryce for the show of such a charming and cozy warm feel of this adorable tiny home. I can actually see myself living in it!
Thanks Louise! Glad you like it. :)
This is a reminder of why I live tiny houses.
Inspiring and has pulled me back from thinking I need a 16-20’ home.
Fantastic! This man is an incredibly beautiful soul, sincere, intelligent, and super creative. Gorgeous designs.. Simple, Elegant, Practical..with Mother Natures interest at heart. So inspired, by the house and the human! May you be blessed with many builds, as the new owners will be so blessed to receive them. With Love from Australia 🤗
No one should be homeless!! This is proof that you can live comfortably in a small space ...bravo!!
Such clean and smooth lines. I love the simplicity and beauty of it.
It's amazing how the space is arranged. It doesn't feel small at all on the inside. Thomas' design is truly inspiring.
Thank you Bryce for the build aspects and questions you asked Thomas in this presentation. Rasa’s filming captures the brilliance here. Yes, sacred geometry is the heart and light of this exceptional creativity. It’s fascinating to learn about the natural solutions Thomas researched and applied to the construction. Thank you Thomas for your thoughtful philosophy and intelligence in engineering beautiful, life-enhancing Tiny Homes.
W nvm no no k
A v cleverly built a spacious tiny house. A unique construction method out of natural metirials. Hats off to this man.. The light colors n sensible designing not only looks spacious but has two bedroom as well.
How awesome, he has thought of everything, and most definitely does look a lot bigger on the inside than I though it was going to be.
I really like the idea of a bigger couch, and there are so many other good ideas for such a small space... Very well done. 😊
I think it's such a brilliant element. I always worry when I see homes with loft beds about what happens when you break your arm, or your ankle or you're sick, or dizzy or drunk or pregnant. All these things might prevent you from climbing safely up to your bed so having a couch that size, you can always sleep there!
just where is the fridge?
Fridge had to install your own... mostly, nicer done real functional tiny hse i ever seem... more smaller than this would be cramp.
Michael Dreher I think I saw a little box fridge under the sink.
His eloquent explanation makes this video ten times better. Fantastic guest.
What a shame that France has so many great lands, views, but you can't enjoy it as it's illegal... because our leaders don't make money from this.
Thanks Bryce for that awesome video and for coming to France, hope you'll make some people start to change minds!! Much love
More and more people are getting on board and France is definitely a tiny house hot-spot in Europe! I'm excited to watch the movement there grow.
@@livingbig
Bryce, when you were in France, did you visit the tiny house manufacturer "Optinid"?
They have a great concept of a completely movable roof, so you can sleep realy under the stars!
Not everybody will like this, but it is so original that it is interesting to present them!
Their website: optinid@fr.
The same in Germany. All the laws against it, although it could solve so many problems.😔
Jola Ajtak Do elaborate, I am interested to know what these laws are like.
@@jolaajtak7861 It is "all those laws" as long as You try to permanently _build_ something.
Put it on wheels instead, be off-grid and just _park_ it, and 98% of the annoying building laws do not apply anymore.
You are probably "homeless" and have to find relatives or friends with an address to "officially" counter that situation (in Germany), but that's etsy petsy red tape only.
A post box and a parked offgrid tiny house-on-wheels, boom, gotchaself a home!
What a beautiful tiny house!!! Makes one want to have one and live in it. Thomas is wonderful person, architect and designer as well! Congratulations! What a blessing! 👏😮😀
I've never seen a company go tiny till now. I truly love it. It's tiny, but it still has everything you need. This man did right in his learning to build. He also pulled it with a small car.
What a fantastic example of the innovation happening in Europe in the tiny house community!
Can't get over how adorable Thomas is and all the details that he's thought of. The tiny tiny window next to the upper bed is such a mood. Also an amazing production and host as always!
Only two minutes into the video and I'm already pumped to explore this fascinating tiny house! That is some Bryce magic right there!!!
Thanks Christopher! Enjoy!
"The more you have limits, the most you need to be creative" beautifully said as only a Frenchman could. So true, love it
Hi 👋 guys! I got so excited 😆 to see another awesome video!
I applaud 👏 you when you mentioned for medical issues you need a bed downstairs. I’ve always thought that when I see people making tiny lift bedrooms.

This is one of my favorite episodes yet! The house is beautiful, clever and so suprising! And the designer is someone i instantly wanted to become friends with, i could imagine having such wonderful conversations with him! I love what he has created and i wish him much success with his business!
I think this is the most thoughtful tiny house yet! I'm so impressed with the clever use of space and layout. He clearly put so much thought into it. True designer!
This is by far one of the most beautiful, innovative and cleverly designed tiny houses. I can just imagine the beautiful smell of the wood! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Bryce for another wonderful experience 👍🏼 😍
What a cool guy 😊 sacred geometry 👌
This is probably the most clear designed compact tiny and functional house! Well done!
Oh my cats would love those little hammocks 🤣
Mine too
Exactly, mine too. Those hammock shelves are more like cat trees.
can you imagine walking in and seeing that??😂
I really enjoy watching Bryce interviewing his guest. I don't know his professional background, but his was born for this kind of work.
Wow what a adorable tiny house, he really put alot of time and effort into building it. When I first seen it from the outside I said omg that's too tiny but once I seen the inside, wow it's sooo amazing it seems bigger than it really is. He is really a brilliant man to come up with that design for a tiny house.
That’s really a WONDERFUL little home.
This tiny house is adorable! Such a clever design. Bravo 😊
