I haven't done a T17 strat up until now, I wasn't a big fan of pretty much everything having to do with them, layouts, some annoying bosses, terrible map mods, but they toned them back a bit, and I happen to be playing a more well rounded tanky character this league, so my maprolling actually fits into 1 regex. I mostly did this for myself so I have Defiled Cathedrals for my mappers for the rest of the league. If you don't want to bother with having your mappers map in Kingsmarch, or with regex map sales, then this strat is not for you. Still cool to see the sheer number of maps you can generate with this. I think I was pretty conservative with my pricing, you can definitely sell more than half to regex enjoyers. Check what maps people want, and print them! :D Thanks for watching!
Even doing just 20 t17s with singular focus, no map nodes and just corruption scarab and one escalation (I was also using all 3 harvest scarabs which is what I was actually farming the maps, so I just needed something to do with the other two scarab slots) I got 180 eight mod favorite maps. Which is nice.
So not worth using Sirgog Div card knowledge to get consistent Divination currency cards? Is the chase for the Apothecary due to it'll be great content reasons?

Same for me, i hated to run them. But playing trickster flicker, and being so abnormal tanky while clearing the map fast enough makes t17 worth to run. Almost feels like block mod is the only 1 not runnable
t17 is for profit but you can still easily sustain your own maps that you need. i used singular focus+3 cart scarabs and magic/infl packsize. bought 10 t16 maps and got like 50+ total, with my regex i still doubled my fav map pool.
i can't be bothered to bulk sell corrupted maps, but i have been doing this strat purely to sustain my own 8-mod t16 mapping and it has been crazy efficient. properly rolled t17s drop maps like candy with this setup.
i tried this a week back, i couldnt sell the maps at all. now i have several quads and map stashes full of maps that are not selling. cannot recommend :(
Yeah you need to sell those on TFT, if you have popular layouts and standard price they usually sell within few minutes especially if you have bigger bulks.

@Empyriangaming You can use a bunch of alchemy orbs (for example) and directly ctrl right click them to fill up your inventory and put your maps in the right place, instead of using more clicks with your current weapons+belt placeholder strat.
FYI there is a tree mastery that opens nearby containers when you cast a spell, and another that opens containers when you use a warcry. If you're a spell caster with a high cast rate this will pretty much open every container on the map as you move past it. Great for strongboxes.

I just do smth like this every time i run out of t16s for like 3 maps and go on. Just for self use this is EXTREMELY useful. Give your mappers the bricks and run the others urself, it so much better to get 8 mod maps this way compared to actually rolling them

Probably could run something similar minus the corruption scarab. T17s More Maps mod makes them ideal for everything else those so you would be very dependent on T17S drops.

I assumed that since ritual mobs are now wildwood mobs, they don't have the 'natural mob' advantages they did last league and adding them isn't as useful. Is there testing on this?
for me i treat them as additional pack of mobs. They have a chance to drop omens and if the rit is bad (not special rewards) i skip it. It means its even faster to run than strongboxes and you can easily fish for nameless ritual to get free 3-4div
yeah and of course it's just aids to have any strat that revolves around picking up so much unstackable shit that you have to portal out at all nevertheless multiple times and also doesn't shift right click into stash. regardless it's not a real strat he just wanted to get maps for his town without trading and show us the results.
If you are able to effectively run T17 maps in PoE, you've almost certainly played this game for at least 100 hours (and likely 1000). I think expecting those folks to have put 40 dollars down on the game is probably a fair expectation.

I ran a similar strategy on T16 Toxic Sewer and City Square but with 2 risk scarabs instead(10-mod maps). If you have a build that can run any mod on T16 it's definitely worth it. It's the most fun I ever had in this game and I completed 40 challenges , reached level 100 and farmed a mirror for the first time. Also definitely worth it to scry your maps, I dropped two apothecary while running this strategy.

This part is so tedious to me, and keeps me out of my own maps longer than I would like. From a casual non content creator standpoint, using gold for arbitrage is way more reliable and less inventory screen time than using kingsmarch mappers. Every 100 gold is worth 1c for selling items at 30-40% margin on the exchange in chaos orbs (buy item on Poe trade for 50c each, sell for 66-70c each on the exchange for ~1500 gold for each trade, so 1500 gold per 16 chaos profit.
I like alternating between T16 and T17 strategies myself, so I don't have to bulk-buy overpriced maps. This was especially true with Affliction league where +2 projectile maps were selling for 2 divines each on TFT. 2 DIVINES PER ONE MAP. I mean, these guys had a fucking ceiling fall on their thick skull to come up with that kind of pricing. I run my T16 strategy of choice to farm currency, at the moment it's "tileset" rogue exile strat in city square. Fun little strat that can produce large lootsplosions when you hit the jackpot and several gigantified exiles spawn in your rituals. But I need decently rolled City Square maps, even though the strat focuses on unique monsters I kinda want to run eight mod maps for pack size, tribute in rituals etc. Almost no one sells 8-mod city squares on TFT, it's not a S-tier meta map this league. So what, I load up T17 map (that drop often with tileset exile strat) and grind my T16's that way, like in your video. Anything that is not city square or contains brickmods is ran by kingsmarch mappers.

8 mod market feels kinda dead. ive been doing this the whole league and maps sell badly right now. 1-2 weeks ago you sold hundreds of maps within minutes and you couldnt even keep up with the DMs on tft, now you can be happy if someone DMs you and want more than 20 maps.
This strat is not sustainable, at least half the value of maps is in their chance to turn into T17s, and they can't turn into T17s if you're in T17 map. And at least half the value of T17 maps is in producing scarabs. If you use T17 maps to produce 8 mod maps instead of scarabs, the non-T17 maps will become cheaper, then T17 maps will become more expensive to make up for the lost profit of T16 map farmers (who produce most of the T17s), the scarabs will be more expensive because T17s are more expensive. By running this strategy you're not only devaluing your product by flooding the market (this is true for most strats), you're also making your investment (T17 maps and scarabs) much more expensive by both increasing demand and reducing supply (which most other strats won't).
I absolutely hate farming 8 mod maps, even if that comes out as 30 d/h I still wouldn't do the strat. Selling to a bunch of guys with the same regex ( a lot of build has basically the same regex) is a pain and you need 100€ worth of stash tabs
looks like ggg is balancing drops around t17 now. 2 weeks ago i could oversustain my fully favorited map with just alch and go, now i can't even sustain my favorited map with fully chiselled 80%+ quant maps.
I really hope the remove that quant wheel every single atlas tree I see had that entire quant wheel it feels mandatory . And I hate when things feels mandatory just doesn't feel fun anymore when you have to use certain things or ur just screwing yourself.
You could say that about the top hat and that's even more punishing... That's the same level as wanting Eldritch altars that will brick your map, I still click the take chaos damage during flask effect, portals are defensive layer.

1) You selected wrong layout 2) You didnt drop price. When maps starts selling slow you drop price e.g 12 to 10, and farm another popular layout. Dont be greedy and it sells fast

They do. Anything that spawns *on map generation* is considered natural. That's why ritual and shrines are natural and no other mechanics.

8 mod market feels kinda dead. ive been doing this the whole league and maps sell badly right now. 1-2 weeks ago you sold hundreds of maps within minutes and you couldnt even keep up with the DMs on tft, now you can be happy if someone DMs you and want more than 20 maps.
I think more people are seeing how easy these maps are to farm for themselves.

This strat is not sustainable, at least half the value of maps is in their chance to turn into T17s, and they can't turn into T17s if you're in T17 map. And at least half the value of T17 maps is in producing scarabs. If you use T17 maps to produce 8 mod maps instead of scarabs, the non-T17 maps will become cheaper, then T17 maps will become more expensive to make up for the lost profit of T16 map farmers (who produce most of the T17s), the scarabs will be more expensive because T17s are more expensive. By running this strategy you're not only devaluing your product by flooding the market (this is true for most strats), you're also making your investment (T17 maps and scarabs) much more expensive by both increasing demand and reducing supply (which most other strats won't).

I absolutely hate farming 8 mod maps, even if that comes out as 30 d/h I still wouldn't do the strat.
Selling to a bunch of guys with the same regex ( a lot of build has basically the same regex) is a pain and you need 100€ worth of stash tabs

2 weeks ago i could oversustain my fully favorited map with just alch and go, now i can't even sustain my favorited map with fully chiselled 80%+ quant maps.

I really hope the remove that quant wheel every single atlas tree I see had that entire quant wheel it feels mandatory . And I hate when things feels mandatory just doesn't feel fun anymore when you have to use certain things or ur just screwing yourself.
You could say that about the top hat and that's even more punishing... That's the same level as wanting Eldritch altars that will brick your map, I still click the take chaos damage during flask effect, portals are defensive layer.

i tried this , i couldnt sell the maps at all. now i have several quads and map stashes full of maps that are not selling. cannot recommend :(
you will sit 2-3 days on maps before you get 1 guy that buys 10 maps with regex
1) You selected wrong layout
2) You didnt drop price. When maps starts selling slow you drop price e.g 12 to 10, and farm another popular layout. Dont be greedy and it sells fast
