Da Mao Jia has some authentic spicy and non-spicy Sichuan food with an additional location in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. I love their Sichuan homemade dumplings, spicy beef noodle soup, and all of their jelly desserts! They also have the cutest logo and take-out food packaging.

@@surelyhere just had it today, it's carry out only. I tried the wontons, the spicy beef noodle, and a little of the tomato beef rice soup. Not bad, but it wasn't worth the money; mostly broth and not much substance. Taste was good though
Sorry to hear that was your experience! I didn't realize they're now carry out only. They must have changed that recently. Our experience was dine-in, so we enjoyed the food fresh and the portion looked bigger probably by serving it in large bowls. I can see how it's a bit on the pricey side. Glad you enjoyed the taste though at least!

I completely agree about the panda collection! I hope so too on the thermostat haha. They were close to being finished by the end of our meal, so I'm hopeful
