Golden Corral is one of my favorite all you can eat buffets. Especially tha salad bar is a must every time. And my favorite is the pot roast, Fried Chicken 🍗, and Fish, and the meatloaf.
Joel I’m a huge veggie person at the buffet as well but my fave is seafood salad at Golden Corral and since you like hot sauce on most things (Texas Pete is my fave) steamed broccoli goes great with pickled jalapeños or fresh you should try it sometime it’s seriously delicious 😋 … hope you’re having a great week and let me know what you think about jalapeño’s with steamed broccoli!!! I really think you’ll enjoy it! I love it!!!

I get the bread pudding every time and add raisins and peaches on top from the salad bar area.

I went to GC a couple weeks ago in Grand Prairie TX...they had Nashville hot chicken, Ranch chicken, and honey glazed fried chicken! 😀🤤

I love Golden Corral. I always start on one side and work my way to the other. Each section has its own plate. I don't take to much of one item. You're right sometimes they miss the mark on some things sometimes. Your dead on the chicken, steaks, fish sometimes is the best.

I really like Golden Corral but none in York, PA but there is one in Lancaster, PA about a 45-minute drive which is not bad except for the traffic hassle getting to and getting back home. I love their fried chicken breast too and the Golden Corral in Lancaster, PA is somewhat Pennsylvania Dutch themed which offers some different varieties than most. Great video! Bring a #Golden_Corral to York, PA, we had one years ago, like back in the nineties and I ate there all of the time...
Cottage cheese and peaches, after a nice salad. And they rarely have sweet potato casserole but when they do get out of my way!
We love Golden Corral! My (Lori) favorite, much to Tommy's dismay, is their steak! 😂 And then the meatloaf with the brown gravy. And then the salad bar. The fried chicken is usually pretty spot-on as well.
I live about 10 minutes away from Golden corral here in Florida they close it down during the pandemic they will not reopen it back up but yes very good place to eat I enjoyed it

The Fried chicken is really great... He is totally right... All the Hometown country side's Are really good... They have some nights you can get steak Or seafood.... It's worth the money

My first job was at golden corral. Love that place. Ours shut down because the assistant manager ran off with $150,000. Owner couldn't recoup after.

Joel, do you know what preservatives taste like? Do you recognize them when you taste them, if so how sensitive are you to them? Do they dissuade you from food? Sometimes I feel like I can taste them, even though I'm not overly sensitive!

Oil and vinegar is a good low calorie choice on salad.
Eating fried chicken with a knife and fork is hilarious.
I'm a person that doesn't go to buffets in general, I have a small appetite, and can't get my money's worth. I tend to lean towards traditional restaurants, where I can take my leftovers home so I can get my money's worth.
When I go to the Chinese buffet I get a carry out container and have my food weighed so I can take leftovers home and not waste. Enjoy watching my husband eat.

I have been working at the one in Birmingham Alabama off and on for 4 years.. The chicken is the best it all comes form the flour they use all the seasoning and everything is included.. very good 👍🏾
