I love your take on goals and 5 year "plans" - great common sense! Having a partner who supports your goals, encourages you, and keeps you accountable is probably the key item to attaining goals.

There is a company in Paris suburb that rents cleaning industrial machines called "les suceuses de l'Ouest" (the western suckers) . They're doing well in business with their huge pink trucks and a name that doesn't go unnoticed. Someone had an idea as crazy as your friend from the bar and put it to action :)
