it's the last type of houses that you normally can't reach in the lower missions, make sure that you can get them (they require 3 different types of luxury goods for example) and if you can just build a neighborhood only for them
@babyfran05 reload game before they devolve then watch them, when they start either put a road next to the smaller houses or put a statue behind them if you can, that should keep the house totally disappearing.
best game ever, imo. idk if this ever happens to you: sometimes palatial estates, if they degrade for whatever reason, to a certain level, the house will entirely disappear into a garden! such a mean bug.
You really should try making a let's play or walkthrough from missions right after Menat khufu~(before that mission there are 4-5 ppl who tried to make a walkthrough but stopped when the game got hard).Would be nice to see how you handle sawu and all the other difficult missions :) PS salut din constanta
As a kid, when I got this game I got frustrated at it and ended up cheating through it. Looking at this guy play makes me ashamed of myself. More importantly, I really want to play this game again...
is it ok if you upload a playthrough, but just of the more exciting missions or something? As far as I can tell the Pharaoh community is alive and well and i'm sure there'd be people interested in watching you play.
you need to have either only gardens or nothing built behind those houses, in order for them to get larger, from a 2x2 to 3x3 format, or from 3x3 to 4x4 ;)
@babydolldeea might be because they are too far away from your storage yards, either way, the game is sometimes buggy when it comes to the proper distribution and exchange of resources
what the game mean as palatial estates?? i have been evolving the houses to top evolution providing them with all kind of things ( luxury goods, lot of kinds of food, scribal schools etc) and lot of stuff but still dont understand what palatial estates are!!!
Hey there :) i know its a long time u posted this video but let me ask you.. I have problems with firestations and architects.. you are not using roadblocks as much as I need to and still, you have no problems with fires? how so yours firemen wont get "lost" ? because if I put roadblock to not get them go away those firestations say "no workers live near by"... I dont know how to solve this..
@babyfran05 well I wouldn't call it a bug more then it is a problem in the programming, the devs didn't consider that could be an issue, and there was no road matrix implemented for de evolving houses
So I tryed what u did and made a block build in 2 space so how do I max the house out cuz the close's Iv toax house was e manor and then it said needs more space so do I make four space build tht problem
you need not feel ashamed, I was 23 when I made these videos I also played it as a kid and never got to finish it, because my computer was too slow and the piramids took an eternity to finish :P

How do you make estates when you can only build housing 2 spaces away from a road? Do you have to build a road surrounding the housing block?

well you need to have houses closer to them, so that they can find workers

For me,last mission wasn't so hard.Few missions before were much tougher.
