As someone who has played many sports over the years, cardio is so much more enjoyable for me when it's framed in a sports-like way. And core added on? Even better! OMG!!! I'M SO, SO, SO, SO HAPPY, EXCITED, STOKED!!!! After 7 months I finally managed to do sit ups on my own with nothing holding my feet down. WHAT AN, ACCOMPLISHMENT!!!!!
I hate sports. Through all my student years my teachers used to make fun of me for being bad at sports. I've been yelled at, kicked out of the team, my classmates didn't want me on their team - I was always the last option no one wanted. It's been rough. It lead me to social anxiety. But with this workout I had so much fun! Been working out for almost 3 years and I finally feel like my inner child can be proud of me and enjoy stuff like this. I know I'm still bad at sports but this workout wasn't about that. I enjoyed it. I didn't have all those teachers looking at me while they mock me. It was me and only me. Thanks Sydney. I found your channel in March and you made such an impact in my workout life. Thank you, for real.
As a fellow awkward "athlete" I can very much relate. When she said sports theme I cringed and almost didn't watch but like she said in the outro, all active movements make us athletes. We don't have be be Olympic standard and school sports are toxic AF. We are in our own arena and we will always be the winner here. 💪💛
Does anyone else accidentally twin with Sydney and get SO happy? I turned on the video and I was in my hot pink leggings and a light pink sports bra and it just made me so excited for the day HAHAHA - also I am so happy that I found this community. I just finished the Dirty Thirty Challenge and LOVED it and I have worked out for some time, but this is the first time it doesn't feel like a chore. I genuinely look forward to these every morning. SO MUCH LOVE EVERYONE - We should all be so proud that we are strong and healthy and happy athletes!!
It’s been a really rough couple weeks for me. My best friend moved out of state. I found out I need 2 knee surgeries. My boss is mad at me for needing time off for surgery and I almost got fired. It’s been real crap lately. But it’s nice to wake up early, wondering what the workout of the day is, and crushing it before the chaos of the day starts. It’s been keeping me from going crazy! 💕 thank you (also I love that I can do these workouts even with a messed up knee!)

What helps me get through the week is pre-cooking a week's worth of proteins & grains and individually refrigerate/freeze them for easy grab-and-go lunches & dinners throughout the week. And keeping the fridge stocked with fruits & veggies.
I curshed this workout, with my 14 year old daughter... she completed this workout like a pro!! Sydney all I want to say is that you have been such an inspiration to millions including the teenagers!! And I think this is the best thing we can gift the teenage kids during their formative years itself. They go SO fast and I genuinely feel like an Olympic athlete :D. Thanks for incorporating more of this in conjunction with strength/power for November!

This was such a fun workout! I love Sydney's athletic-themed workouts, they get your heart rate up, and I get super sweaty 💦. I very rarely workout at night, I'm almost always an early morning exerciser. But today I had something I couldn't re-schedule in the morning, then had a bunch of stuff that kept me busy the rest of the day. 5:30 PM came around, and I was getting that winding-down kinda feeling, like I wanted to just chill and have an early dinner. But I remembered seeing this workout in my notifications this morning, and I thought "there's no reason I can't workout now, just because I usually don't in the evening". I had no excuses, other than feeling kinda lazy 😃! So I got my workout clothes on, and did this workout. I'm so glad I did, because I really miss it when I don't get moving at least once a day. And I feel awesome now, refreshed and re-energized!

I didn't get to complete the last 15 mins as my toddler woke up early from his nap BUT I wanted to share that I still feel great for showing up and moving my body, despite feeling really down today and also very tired. Sometimes, you've just gotta do what you can do ;) Thank you Sydney and team for all these amazing workouts to keep us enjoying fitness. I quit my gym this year because I have realised I get more joy from these workouts rather than lifting weights on my own (which i've done for yeaaaaaars). I love this channel

Way back in June, my pep talk for myself was, "Look self, don't aim for 6-pack abs because you'll just be frustrated everytime. Focus on making your core stronger." Today, keeping up with Sydney without any modifications on the core workouts was an achievement for me. I can't believe how my core got stronger Sydney! I missed this style of cardio workouts SO MUCH!! These first few days have been amazing 👏 so excited for the rest of November!!
Way back in June, my pep talk for myself was, "Look self, don't aim for 6-pack abs because you'll just be frustrated everytime. Focus on making your core stronger." Today, keeping up with Sydney without any modifications on the core workouts was an achievement for me. I can't believe how my core got stronger Sydney! Thank you for always reminding us to engage our core all the time. Way to go my core! 😂
