Robinson who is we need and want. It's clear the UK knew that Lanier was going to UT . That's fine Robinson is what we need. A person who can take over the game. I can easily see him averaging over 22 plus with UK. If you look at teams that make it to the final 4 we have analytically what it takes to make a championship team. Lanier was my first choice. He was so efficient. Jaxson Robinson is my second choice. I’m not as high on Poplar. He takes too many bad shots and often jacks up a lot of missed shots.
Yeah I agree but the team he was on was a big part of that, in popes system he can spot up more he offers more defensively than Chaz or Jaxson. With Vision not coming to Kentucky it leaves the door open for Wooga or Jackson or both or one and a reclass I want Jackson but Wooga is a better shooter and he’s a really good athlete I think you will have to give him a lot of money but now you have enough for both of them we might lose someone if we get both of them but I’d be ok with that as long as it’s not Koby or Lamont Butler. Ansley knew he might not have a big role and Brandon Garrison is only a sophomore Jaxson has the most positional value my guess is if Jaxson pulls out that’s the main priority but they still want Wooga on a visit and Wooga did have a great game against last year then fought through injury

Either of them would probably thrive with this roster. They can be a little more selective in their shots, and would have good facilitators to set them up for good looks. I don’t think we NEED any of these guys. But getting one of them would be a beautiful thing. 🙌
Poplar turns the ball over too much for my liking, he almost had as many turnovers as assists. But I like his physicality on defense. Chaz is the better shot creator which I think Kentucky is missing. But him and Robinson would be a good combo for us to get. Prolly the best available
@@MmaRicky I think Poplar would have less turnovers with this roster. He wouldn’t have to be THE guy, so he could just focus on taking good looks when they come and passing to other really good players when his shots not there. I think the difference in roster and coaching would really make the difference. I’m a little sad Chaz signed with Tennessee, but Poplar and Robinson are still great options! Probably will only he’ll get one of them though.
I wanted Robinson and Poplar more than Lanier. We already have great guards, and Lanier has only had one good year ever. Let's see if he can do it in the SEC. Robinson and Poplar have already proved they can do it on this level.
How do you know they are 'all in' on Robinson? They can't talk about players by name who have not committed. I agree with you, I do think they want Robinson. That leaves one open scholarship. We only have one spot left. But someone told me privately that is a HUGE Booster for UK that they can use this NIL deal to let the kid pay his own way. Idk if that's true or if they could get one player to do that but id sure like to have them both on next years team

I was hoping we could land both Lanier and Robinson, but I think we can get Robinson IF he pulls out of the NBA Draft. Looks like he'll be the guy we go after now. I just hope he's the scorer we think he is. He came off the bench for some reason for Coach Pope at BYU. You'd think that being the best player on that team that he would've been the starter. After last season I am not optimistic about any team until we see them on the court though. I'm done getting my hopes up ahead of the games. I get that Lanier is a bad defensive player, but we seem to have recruited defensive guys around him. That's why I wanted Lanier. Can Jaxson Robinson be efficient enough though as an offensive player? I'm not sure.
