That rad is looking a little rotten I would not go too far with it like that. It's sad they don't make them like that anymore and it cost mega bucks to rebuild the original because of all the brass and copper that is in it but you should look into a new rad or something use in better shape.
Did somebody steal your tree while you were asleep at 3 pm ? Man you just can't trust anyone now Adays . Was it nailed down ? Still a very nice car. And the driver isn't bad either.
WOW Where is that trail of oil coming from I would not be driving the car or even running it long with a leak like that or your going to run that old slant dry. I have seen them old slants running with no oil but it was a junk block that had a spun bearing so it did not matter but if it's a good engine I would not go running it dry if you don't need to. Those slants are good reliable engines that will run forever if you keep it oiled and don't overheat or over rev it too much.
Lucky for us, it only started leaking in the driveway, so we were able to see it and fix it. May have not noticed in time if it happened out on the road.
Great to watch the Plymouth Belvedere slant six car go by. I once had a car like this. Should never have sold off. I replaced it with a 904 automatic. I also had a Dodge Dart -64 225 cid with which I drove a street race, see ua-cam.com/video/q591xICEOcI/v-deo.html
That rad is rotting in the front all that green in the front of the rad are the tubes getting weak and the inside of that rad did not look that great but you should get it pressurized to see if it will hold under pressure because that's what matters if it's leaking with cold water in it not at pressure that is really not good because if it is leaking with cold water not running then it will be so much worst when the water is hot pushing 8 or 9 PSI or more depending on the rad cap.
Belvedere is running good. Thanks for the update. Time for me to get on mine.
Gorgeous and always amazing that these old cars crank...
Couldn't agree more!
Good stuff! Keep the videos coming!
Thanks! Will do!
Drop the steering column it'll be super easy after that you don't have to take off the steering wheel

Sounds like that /6 is turning some R's. Did you say 3.91 in the back?
Guessing based on the axle tag I found in the car, it is definitely a Sure-Grip though.
What's up with the Valiant?
Working on finishing the floors and getting the interior back in it. Will post update asap.
Does you're state require an inspection regardless of how it's registered, say as a antique?
As far as I know, yes, but Antique Registration has many restrictions, we want to drive it!

Sounds crazy, very cool!

So far so good, no leaks, keeping an eye on it though.
