1964 Belvedere Barn Find Rescue - Sitting 20 Years

- Part 1: Here we go again, dragging another old Mopar out of a junkyard barn, this time a 1964 Plymouth Belvedere 2 door hardtop. Car sat for dang near 20 years or more, and still retains it’s 3 on the tree slant 6 tower of power. This dirty half a racecar wanna be is as rust free as they get in these parts.
We love old cars, and lately old Mopars, so join us while we drag this one out, uncover what lies beneath, and for some general foolishness.

You have your self a great little car there. I'd love a car like that. I had a 64 Dodge Dart it was about 11yrs old when i bought it. 3 on the tree when life was simple.

That's one SWEET looking car. Not as SWEET as the kid , which is the reason why that Bee was buzzz-ing around her. SWEET. Think it would be better going back to the original gas tank and truck .

@@cudafry1967 Windy at present, been windy since end of February, abnormal. We have a generally moderate climate. Distinct seasons. It was usually dry last spring had to water the garden quite a bit. Has been a few years since we had a hard winter,not much snow. My brother finished his garden last week, a little early, but has worked out fine, I should have mine finished in a week or so. I am 45 minutes north west of Nashville. In rural farming region. Love it, also the least developed area around Nashville. Possibly the most affordable as well. Low 50's in mornings and upper 60's to low 70s through the day. Swap meets start in early February, car show season soon after,through about October, some even in November . Tennessee impressed me because of it's balance, good job market, healthy labor pool, reasonable cost of living, competitive income bracket. There are some undesirable bugs in some rural areas, like ticks,hardly any mosquitos. I have a niece who is a realtor, let me know if you want to have a look around, I will relay your info.
Nice score. Why does it have a 3 speed manual trans plus the push button shifter on the dash as well? Did they switch it to manual trans later? The guy you bought it from is a Mopar hoarder for sure!
He thinks the owner before him removed the push button block off for another car.
The writing under the hood first word is centari which is a brand of paint. Possibly followed by the paint code
