I'm curious if any of you have heard Liszt's Dante Symphony, and if so, what your thoughts are about it.
It's VERY difficult to read Paradiso if one is not on good terms with God.
What translation/edition are you quoting, Fathers? I asked for the Divine Comedy for Christmas and I'm wondering which translation to give a shot first. Was thinking of Anthony Esolen's.
