- Photography & retouching feedback/constructive criticism. You sent me your images for critique, and I gave you my professional opinion & feedback on your beauty retouching and photography skills. I explain why you shouldn't always take the CC seriously, especially on internet. I touch on topics of beauty vs portrait and changing the skin colour. I also talk about frequency separation and why it's not good for skin retouching, how to local fix colour, skin colour uniformity and other small details that make or break good beauty image.

And I want to especially thank you for sharing your talent and your vision for our improvement in this way. Do not worry about the pronunciation of my last name, I know it can be confusing, Spanish is;) ... I want to ask you something, could you recommend a school, physical and / or online to study retouching or photography? Maybe tell us a little about where you have studied? I would like to know where you learned to retouch ... Thanks again Vera!.

As for your question about where I studied: i am self taught. It all comes from my experience with photography and retouching from last 10 years really. When I stared with more high end retouching, i just watched hours and hours and days and weeks worth of videos on UA-cam, tried all the techniques there is, and slowly and gradually found my own style and workflow that worked the best. I never went to school for it, just by trying, making mistakes and learning from them I arrived where I am not. I definitely don’t know everything there is yet, I believe learning and mastering a skill takes out whole life.
I am sorry if this is not what you were looking for, I can’t recommend any online or physical courses per say as I was never part of one, for retouching, but hopefully you now get better idea how I became skilled.

You know, it is very similar to my experience, I have not studied in specialized retouching schools either, except for a course that I did in my city this year, to reinforce some themes and workflow, but my journey is very similar to yours, self-taught . Thanks again for sharing your talent and knowledge. I will continue to follow your work, I find it wonderful. ;)
Hi Miss Vera, I really love your work. Do you have any tips for RAW conversiom specially photos with patchy colors?
Patchy colours needs to be sorted with local colour correction.
