I for one appreciate the value in teaching others efficient jungling routes, even if there was a chance to make your routes more efficient. It's good to jungle, but make sure you focus on objectives too. Finding the balance can be tricky. I think this is precisely deathy's point as well.

@@Arunnn241 I mean there shouldn't even be a "route" to begin with, jungling is purely situational and you should just hit and run nearby camps as you progress. There should never be a hard focus and priority for jungling because you lose so much else and leave space for the enemy to recover just for a small spirit lead.

Is losing half of your Guardians health really worth 1300 souls? I’ve had games where we manage to keep that last guardian alive limiting them to 0 flex spots which I think definitely makes more of an impact. Genuine question. I try to jungle as much as I can while still in range of my lane to stop and secure as much as I can
yeah, he’s kinda teaching wrong fundamentals at 3:37. you can just go back to the camp after getting the wave. defending guadians and getting troopers early game > jungling
Imo defending your guardian and denying slots is always better. You can easily clear waves and farm at the same time especially if you take advantage of the teleports for cheeky surprise attacks on solo's attacking your guardian after farming.
You are definitely doing it right
Yeah there's no reason you can't do both. Do 2 camps, defend lane for 2 waves, do the other 2, defend lane for 2 waves, and then it's 10 minutes and you can do slot machines. It's honestly better bc the timing matches well so there's 0 downtime between farming Lane and farming jungle
Yes, that was too much jungling early that lost out on creep value and lost a lot of objective health.
Losing waves/guardian health or entire guardians is NOT worth an extra camp or two. Waves are worth more and are on a timer, guardians do not respawn. Push your lane as far as possible and then clear camps, preferably enemy camps, as you wait for the wave to get back to a point where its safe for you to collect. Rinse and repeat. As a farming character like seven haze infernus that doesn't like early skirmishes and teamfights the best thing you can do is get people to respond to the waves you're pushing in AND prevent the enemy from taking your objectives.
A single wave of troopers before 10 minutes is worth 375 and they come out basically every 30 seconds if you can clear the wave, take a camp, clear a wave, take a camp. This removes the risk of you losing an objective. A single guardian is with 1500 souls for the team And a walker is 4500 souls. Dont be stuck in the jg and always prioritize pushing up the wave before you leaving lane
At 05:24 why are you not taking the enemy camp in the church? Is it not better to take everything from the enemy first?

I don’t get why these video are everywhere now. Farming is so situational that you’re most likely gonna be farming a different path each game. You might be owning the enemies which gives you a chance to farm their jungle. You might be want to farm a different path depending on enemies/teamates/minions/etc..

Love that these videos are always after the first guardian is defeated in five minutes. I want to see jungle against a team committed to anti-farm especially in the early lane phase.
I think this guide is more suitable for a losing lane (which is often when play seven) rather than a winning lane in the video
Seven is so oppressive in lane though? He has such high wave clear, strong gun with good range, can punish someone for chasing and can hit people around corners. I think you just need to be more confident and not play so passively

You should buy refresher and use your ult on every camp
Melee Charge is also AMAZING as a farming item for camps, melee damage can hurt multiple creeps and the bonus ammo helps you mow them down.
There's no such thing as jungle pathing in deadlock... every lane should be clearing the camps nearby in between waves. You're only seeing these camps up because you're in dirt league mmr.
I think Melee Reload is a great item for farming, as you end up punching multiple camps at once and you can now over cap your ammo.
Dominate the jungle and lose the game
How do you jungle when the enemy has all your lanes pushed in? It seems like half my games one lane will lose so hard that the enemy just ARAMs it down the lane into our base so I can’t even jungle because I need to match them
When on the defending side, you can have less people than the attacking side and still hold. One of the best things to do when they're grouped up is to split push the far lane (relative to the enemies), forcing them to pull back or lose their own uncontested objectives. Just make sure to have map awareness for when they pull back and who's not with the group as to who may be coming for you.
This video is great for learning jungle paths, but keep in mind that he IS playing Seven which is notably the fastest farming hero in the game currently. So your timings and speed on camps may vary, causing you to not farm as fast as he is in this video. But great video regardless. 👍
If you’re even thinking about farming path in Deadlock then you have made a mistake. Your priority should be laning and in the mean time try to get enemy camps. Also this is not the greatest video, stop bootlicking, and hope you end up like Kurt Cobain
Bro really didnt care about guardians when literally it is a flex slot. the whole purpose of farming. the mistake was to leave the jungle after you ulted because the lane equilibrium is being pulled
To those who are reading this, take note of his efficient farming but never let you guardian down unless dire state eg. 3v1. better to stay alive
Ye literally, in one of his vids, its like 30 mins in and they get their first flex slot, like part of his guide is to start selling items so early on because he didn't help unlock the flex's
In this game you push lane and then farm back, not to the side.
Ulting the Jungle camp as Seven is crazy to me. Do you think it's worth your Ult on cooldown for the clear speed?
With the build he recommends the ult doesn't do much damage. It's probably worth it if your ult is up since that camp would take a while otherwise
I'd say It's worth it if you know you're not gonna use it somehow, but I think it woud be better used on a side line Guardian.
Probably worth it only for tier 3 camps just to get that quick money injection

Thoughts on ammo scavenger? My understanding is it works in the jungle now.
It's a good item overall. I buy it every time I'm focusing on Weapon items and I don't need that many spare Spirit slots, on any Hero.
Much like Dota 2, every game is different, at all diff skill levels. Some games you can jungle like mad, some you can't.

@Your_Deadlock Yeah, but what I am supposed to get out of that? You have 789 NekoScore on the account from the guide, which is way too low to use as an argument.
But even ignoring that, we can see from the gameplay so many poor examples. The last thing I'd want in my team is a Seven, that's ahead, takes all the camps leaving nothing for the nearby teammates, even though it was completely unnecessary, to take them all, because of the lane state. Then avoids counter-jungling despite being ahead, doesn't buy items to secure souls and then gives them away to the enemy.

this video helped a lot, I've played the Seven build many times but wasnt able to get the same amount of souls as described in the build video. now it is much more clear and should be a lot easier. all in all i think that seven is the hero that needs to farm the most

Yeah that build is nuts late game. The only issue is that sometimes your lanes lose so badly that you can’t even jungle because the enemy team is pushed inside your base so you have to react. How do you deal with hay

These guides are very faulty and very egoistical. I wouldn't recommend listening to his tips too much, only a few are good, but they're more likely to make a player that everyone will hate if they'll get you in lobby.

"jungle path" lol this is Deadlock. There are no "jungle paths" and if you are sticking to one, your team hates you for being useless 70% of the game.
