TODAY!!!! I found a 1979 Susan B. Anthony Dollar (San Fransisco Mint mark) While walking my dog. It looks like its in awesome condition (other than a couple of scratches on the edges)
And now Im noticing that the eagle on the back might have a Potential double die error.

I wanted to know about my 1979 S SBA dollar with what looks like a die crack on the front. The mark goes from the 3rd star left of the date, out and over the edge of the coin.
Wow! Never new they had value. I have about 50 of these coins my grandfather collected for me for the year I was born.

I just found 1979 SBA $1 coin with the S mint on it. It took a while to focus in on the S stamped on the left, but its definitely a San Fram mint

I literally walked into a bank today to ask if they had any Sacagawea coins they would be willing to sell. She said sometimes they do, but not today. She then said "I do, however, have 7 of these Susan B Anthony coins if youd like to buy them". I had some luck with a Sacagawea coin which is why i was looking for them. It was a complete gamble becuase i knew nothing about SBA coins. I paid 7 dollars. 6 of them have the "P" mint mark, and one has a "d". All are 1979. I believe every one of them is a wide rim except maybe one. And they are all in basically perfect condition.
Did i just hit the jackpot?? And how does one go about having coins graded and certified. It makes me nervous having to mail them somewhere. Wonder if there is anywhere in the Pittsburgh area to have it done? Anyone knows id appreciate it. I have a few other coins and bills id like to have graded.

i have a '79 s, i think. but it's scuffed pretty bad 😞
They are worth a lot because they get them Graded and it is VERY expensive to have Grading done but could be worth it if you truly find a expensive piece but you have to pay to have it graded before you can even sell it so up front money is needed. Sucks asss for us poor peeps😂
