Gamewell-FCI is one of the more weird and interesting Honeywell brands. The product lines (including the panels) are very quirky and somewhat problematic at times. I’ve noticed a lot of S3 and E3 units have a tendency to not respond to user commands which was clearly evident by the panel not completing a “signal silence”. Maybe the system is programmed to where the message loops until signal silence (kind of like Safepath voice panels), or there could be a programming issue at the panel. Gamewell-FCI just hits different.
Here are the things that I know that are weird and interesting with Gamewell FCI panels 1. For the signal silence when it's a voice evac message, the voice message plays for the designated amount of times before stopping when it reaches the end of the message wo it doesn't cutout just like on the Wheelock Safepath voice panels. 2. The polling LED lights on pull stations or detectors don't turn solid when they're activated on Gamewell FCI devices 3. The detectors or pull stations can activate through a range of time within 1 to 5 seconds due to the weird funky speed of the Gamewell FCI Velociti protocol 4. When reseting a Gamewell FCI panel that doesn't have a touchscreen, you have to hold the "system reset/lamp test" button until the panel version screen displays otherwise it won't reset and just do a lamp test only 5. The Gamewell FCI touchscreen panels are sometimes unresponsive to user commands as there's a bit of a delay on the touchscreen 6. In walk test mode, the initiating devices are slow and can take like 10 seconds to activate 7. Touching a button on the touchscreen makes some icons of the screen flicker for a split second
I work for a dealer and can attest to many of these "features" for the first one it's pretty easy to fix that with a few lines in low level. not that you should have to, but it is a way. It's also a pain on a s3 if your ahj wants the strobes to keep flashing on silence because when you reset the horns let go again.@@joeycaridi3030
I always wondered what a 7200 system with speaker strobes would do in terms of sound. I’ve seen a few on my college campus. There seems to be zero video recordings of one.
This is part of my ideal fire alarm system. This whooping tone with the Siemens FV Series Voice Evacuation Message would be perfect for an evacuation message. My ideal system is 2-stage. The standby alert is this code 3 tone: ua-cam.com/video/xjRFkgU0jVg/v-deo.html along with an automated standby message. I also love the look of the System Sensor L-Series Speaker Strobes and would love those. An addressable Fire-Lite BG-12 LX would be my ideal pull station and a System Sensor Addressable Smoke Detector would be my ideal smoke detector. The panel will also have different messages for different emergencies such as tornadoes, flash floods, lockdowns, shelter-in-place alerts, medical emergencies, gas leaks, general evacuations, and carbon monoxide. Also will have a testing message, a testing has been completed message, and an all clear message (all messages will also have Spanish translations right afterward).
Full message: May I have your attention please, an emergency has been reported in this building, while this report is being verified, please leave the building using the exit stairways, do not use the elevator, use the stairways only, do not use the elevator.
Although that's a very bad place to cut that message off. You're better off using the message "May I have your attention please? A fire emergency has been reported in the building. While this report is being verified, please leave the building.
This is the exact same sound as in my building except with more words

@@joeycaridi3030 The devices' LEDs do go solid on alarm though
Have to admit that the installations of these horns look clean and modern.
Was wondering what the whoop sounds like
It’s not the only whoop tone. I’ve worked on many.
It didn’t say by the nearest exit do not use the elevators
So sad to see 7200 Series being replaced w/ E3 :(
Uh this was never a 7200
@@FourtyFiftyEighty I know. I'm just saying in general.

Did the Honeywell gamewell bg12lx get replaced by the panel sense it didn’t go off?
I probably should have specified that the first clip was in walk test. Pulls are really slow on walktest for some reason
My school has this exact tone and message in use.
Everyone gangsta, till that alarm starts playing girl on fire by alecia keys
Did it replace any old system
no this was a brand new install
Is this located in a school?

System sensor L-Series Speaker/strobes.

Anyone can edit it around, I know some places remove the stairways and elevator part if they don't have them. Thats one of my favorite messages!

Hey 4050-80
I Hate The Female Voice Message It's So Annoying And I'd Rather Hear The Male Voice Message Instead!
At least it's better than high pitch screeching
Why is the female voice message so annoying for you? Is it because it sounds earsplitting as it's higher in pitch than the male voice?
@@joeycaridi3030 I prefer the female voice so much more than the male.
