As someone in band, I always appreciate how mechanical horns tend to harmonize with each other while electronic horns tend to clash with each other. This is because mechanical horns have very different pitches while electronic horns usually have almost the exact same pitch-but not quite.
Wheelock AS and MT are louder. They are at an earsplitting 105 decibels and higher pitched than spectralert advanced. Wheelock 7002T and NS have a special place in my heart. Love the famous/infamous skipping of 7002T and pitch variations. Also love the futuristic screech of the NS.
@@davidperry4013 I like the Customizability of the Wheelock AS and Different Types of NS. The Quality on the NS, not that great, they made it much better on the Exceeder. The 7002T is a Classic, they are almost like em' good ol' Simplex Mechanical Horns. I also really like the Quality and tones and customizability with the MT; just as good as a Gentex Commander.
I know it has been mentioned countless times but I HATE the way the alarm company you work for tests smoke detectors. Magnets and test buttons do not properly confirm that the sensing chamber is functioning correctly. It is a terrible practical and not allowed under NFPA72. I accept that you are doing your job as instructed, but it is still something that your company and the state need to be aware of. Functional testing “Smoke detectors should be functionally tested annually by introducing smoke to ensure they are working properly.”
@@DanTDMJace This isn't a monthly test though. You don't have to activate every device for a monthly test. He has only recently started using canned smoke. The company he works for would benefit from investing in a Solo or Testifire kit.

System Sensor MASS harmony is usually pretty good tho, especially with some Integrities mixed in
