Fire Alarm Test #98 | Wheelock 7002Ts
After a long wait I finally have some more mechanical horns to show. Very interesting apartment building owned by a university. It is 3 floors but parts of each floor are at different height levels so there's random extra stairs. Some of the apartment entrances are also inside a communal hallway area. This system has definitely seen better days. The original pull stations appear to be 270spos but most have since been replaced with BG-12s. One of the 7002ts also presumably died at some point and got replaced with an advance.

A quick test of a Vintage Fenwall FM200 system. This system features an extremely rare strobe. Another old dorm with multiple retrofits. System was originally a 1967 era honeywell system with 4030 looking 24vdc horns. The weird thing is said horns were installed in the hallways as well as the bathrooms. Yep you read the title right. I had the opportunity / task to go and replace a bunch of system sensor spectralert classics with LED L series horn strobes. i believe for this system the original panel was an old ESL panel. i did not expect that one advance to be continuous
old exterior hotels in houston be like: wheelock 7002T
2 more tests to 100. I find Wheelock 7002’s are always replaced with Advances, but it doesn’t matter cuz the advance has many install availabilities

@@prodbylxcky Faraday is the OEM for the horns in simplex devices. It is the same horn as say a simplex 4903-9219 but the actual device was a siemens U-HN

Not necessarely a fail, since ceiling strobes can be rated for wall. An example is the SpectrAlert Advances
I assume the horn on the 6120 is either disabled or not working.
It dose not activate till 2 alarms are activated
