Want me to go on a food tour with me around Saigon check out www.chadkubanoff.com/lets-eat - Розваги
What you said about tàu hũ is spot on. Whenever my family visits my grandparents, we always buy them tàu hũ since their teeth aren't as good anymore but they like sweet snacks. They love it.
🤣 i thought so
The amount and quality of content AND production packed in one of your videos is just insane Chad! I miss Vietnam dearly, and your videos truly bring me right back home!
thank you so much
I am so excited for my Vietnam travel
i hope you have a great time
So incredible, seeing what you could get for $1 in Vietnam is absolutely fantastic, from the looks of all the things you got would easily be around $25-$30 here.. I look forward seeing your new space chef 👨🍳 and try out some of these places you suggested too
Well living expenses in most third world country are much cheaper I guess? Working class usually spend around 5$ on food for a whole day here.
It looks fresh and delicious
its so good
love the way your videos edited, so professional and creative
really enjoyed the video all the food looked amazing I want to try every dish
10:05 that City of Mine (Instrumental Version) fit pefectly when you're talking about how Saigon is a food heaven.
I cannot wait to come back this year for these street food. Much love from Cali~
thank you so much
love the content Chad i followed u since day 1 in VN, keep up the good work
appreciate your support
you got lucky man, khoai mo chien and sticky rice with dorian can rarely be seen in Saigon, and they taste so damn good.
Damn as a Saigon local I was genuinely surprised by some of these prices. Especially the Xôi sầu riêng and Tàu hũ bánh lọt. I usually got them for a bit higher
Absolutely loved this video man! My girlfriend is viet and this is such a fun way to get more invested in her culture. The style and energy of the video? Amazing bro, keep it up
Thank you
This has Anthony Bourdain vibe
i liove to hear that, was such a fan of his shows
So many good bites!
Love it❤
Those ube fritters look insane!
One of my favorite foods was lạp xưởng with eggs and rice. Simple, nostalgic, and tasty. At some point I plan on going back to Vietnam to visit family and I'm excited to try out the variety of food vendors. I love your content!
U mean sticky 🍚 😊
thank you, i hope you are able to come back soon
This is Amazing city food anywhere all you should that food fantastic.I Love you videos so much. thanks.👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️💝💝💝💝
Yêu vedio của bạn ❤❤❤❤
You deserve more recognition
hope it comes 😆
8:22 hey that's my old high school lol! glad to see you're enjoying the nighttime street food over there! I don't recommend the cá viên chiên sold there though, they taste bad and are too overpriced.
I will recommend milk tea Hani at that place, they're a bit more expensive but totally worth it imo. And if you're lucky enough to go pass somewhere between 4 - 6 PM there's a stall that sells really good bánh mì nướng!
I am Vietnamese but the place i live dont have these food, they look so delicious!
Wish i can have one.
Big cities usually more street vendors than in country side
I will be in Hanoi soon, first time Vietnam. I am just terrified of getting sick. I prob should have not looked it up and went there ignorant. Before anyone gives me advice, I have read and watched hundreds of pieces of info on the subject. I just tend to worry and overthink stuff.
Just go to the high-end restaurant and you are good to pay 😅😊
Just eat food thats cooked hot. Avoid the salads for those with weak stomachs.
love your video bro
thank you
hi i would enjoy this much more if you provided the specific addresses in the description so i can go try it because they all look really yummy. Thanks!
Hey Chad hows your shop coming along? YT didnt push any of your videos to me recently so I lost track.
cool
Yup, foods in Vietnam are never enough to cover
We typically go to VN for 3.5 weeks and by the time we reach 2.5 weeks, a good old Mickey D's cheap burger is what I crave. Problem is now solved :) LOL
that pork porridge you can have it in hanoi for 20k max
🎉🎉🎉
😋😋😋
I kinda wanna see a vid where Chad speaks Vietnamese the whole time
I love mixue too
So good
I've had chao in Hà Nội in a number of places and it's never been that smooth. More like how you describe, with rice grains still present. Maybe this is a special version from some particular place
Cháo in Hanoi is normally like cháo anywhere else. The smooth texture is only meant for certain dishes, for example cháo sườn in this video. Another dish that has this texture is cháo trai, the porridge with a kind of river mussels.
@irina_vhmc thank you for clarifying!
😍
just as an fyi, we do have proper restaurant food in the district. this is just 1 small area there.
😎👍
"I bet you old people love this" I tell my wife all the time, there are some "dessert/food" that's old people food and she like it 😅😅
Hey Chad. Can you please share the address of the Cháo Sườn? Thanks so much
They setup right about here

I think his name is Chad. Or is this a joke that I didn't get?
He’s Chad & production quality of this channel has always been top notch
go to hanoi plz
Do you have a hollow leg?? Seriously though, that all looked so delicious.
Maybe because of inflation, you can go up to $1.99 just like the dollartree in the US is $1.25 for items.
My filipin friends told me that Ube and khoai mỡ is different. Idk but i think is true tho
i love your editing style
The first woman did it with bare hands..................
There is. O reason food should be $20-30 in America. Inflation only exists because of greed.
In Vietnam they buy direct from the producer. In US from farm to table involved 5-10 middleman each passing the cost on to the next middleman, we pay the cost.
Inflation exists because of costs. In the US, we are paying way more for gasoline than before because the President on his first day banned new drilling on federal lands including any new offshore drilling. Then he also cancelled the XL Pipeline, these companies have to store all these huge pipes for 4 years or more since their project just got stalled and that costs money they will pass onto consumers. Every business that receives anything will have to pay to get supplies delivered, along with all the services like lawn and window washing. Your mechanic and all these other services will raise their prices because they have to pay more for gasoline, food, rent etc. Businesses aren't going to eat the costs, they will pass on the costs to the consumer. They can't be too greedy or their competitors will put them out of business. The businesses and their competitors didn't meet up and agree to raise prices just for fun. They are all trying to survive just like everywhere else even in Vietnam the street vendors have to compete for $$
@@h011yw00dvoted blue go 💔 😅

I'd LOVE to see a collaboration between you and Sonny from the Best Ever Food Review Show! @BestEverFoodReviewShow
I never eat outside here, everything is very poor quality and drenched in soybean oil or margarine, lethal for your organism.
