I’m happy that she is competing and looks healthy in college gymnastics! I think it’s a little much for her to have that acro series in her college routines though, no? Not to downplay her ability to do it, but that level of difficulty will be hard to maintain consistently throughout the season with so many meets/practices. Just my thoughts, still rooting for her!
Yes, and her landing of that skill in elite was always inconsistent. I don't recall her falling often, but there were some pretty gnarly balance checks.
No, Just Lina, McClain doesn't get credit for a flip flop, backhandspring as her series as neither element has flight. her second element would have needed flight to count as a series
This is just a general comment, but is it just me or does she not look THAT much happier competing in college? I feel like her spark for the sport is just gone
You must not have seen Gym 101 or seen her social media posts with her team. Here I’m guessing it was just first meet jitters because from what I’ve seen, she definitely looks calmer and happier at LSU than she’s ever been

Love her!!! Must have had a few nerves in her first college competition, but this girl has SKILL and is going to be a great asset for LSU!!!!
