- I thought it would be fun to compare all my builds in a video. Many of the builds have never been in the same world so some of the size differences comes as a shock to me. I know that some of them include the mountains they're built on, but in my opinion the moutains are part of those builds and part of the builds actually start at the bottom so technically it's not incorrect.

I think so too! Just got recommended the Sanctum video yesterday and now this one. Loving it. Sixwings your build style is hugely inspirational. I've been playing this stupid game since alpha 1.2.2, primarily as a builder, and I can just see so many techniques that I'm still yet to learn. Amazing work, an easy subscribe from me :D

Absolutely wonderful attention to detail. I've seen a few of your tutorial videos. I love how you actually furnish the insides. So many make outwardly beautiful structures, but they are merely hollow shells. You go the full mile and then some.
It is also amazing your variety of creations as well. How are you able to come up with such ideas, and then to have the strength of will and capacity of visualization to actually bring these artworks to life? Very grand.
I'm so glad you like the builds. I would say that time is the ultimate factor. There're so many styles I want to try out but each build takes time. At least I'm not running out of builds to make any time soon. 😊
Your literally the only UA-camr you takes the time to make the amazing tutorials. no one else has the dedication to make a tutorial for the big builds like you
@@SquidGuido I'm glad that I can provide you with tutorials. I haven't watched that many tutorials myself. I think Cortezerino does some larger scale tutorials, but yeah, maybe there aren't many others that do it, now that I think about it.

I'm in awe of your work SixWings! And the musical choice here was absolutely perfect! The way you set up the video was professional quality and really tugged at my heartstrings the way you revealed the special builds. It's funny how "small" the builds look from afar. Having built some of them in an anarchy server, I know how ENORMOUS even the midsized builds like the Japanese Shrine/Romon Gate and Japanese Bathhouse really are. The Autumn Castle is an absolute BEAST and it isn't even very tall in these rankings. I hope you continue to inspire players for years to come! You've certainly inspired me! Thank you sir!

I suppose I could've included the foundation on the backside of the Autumn Castle which would've bumped it up a lot higher in the ratings but since it's the backside it doesn't really feel like a natural part to include. I'm definitely going to continue build. Hope you do too!
It's always a pleasure to see your builds, and seeing them side by side is a real treat for the eyes. The scale of them and the time and dedication it takes to put them together are jaw-dropping. And I know I've said this on other videos, but I feel like at this point, your choice of music and your cinematography are almost as much a part of the builds as anything. Especially here, with the building crescendo as we pan from build to build, moving up in size. Thank you for uploading.

@@TheDomander If you have a family to feed and use a lot of time on UA-cam you might not earn enough to pay for rent and stuff. I have a job besides this but in these times I don't get that many jobs/projects so normally I would look for new projects or worst case, a new job. Instead I used all the time I had on UA-cam.

@SixWings I'm 41, and have been a gamer since 7... spectrum 😎 I've inly just recently got into minecraft, about 3 months ago or so. So I'm a total novice. But I'm totally addicted to minecraft now. Your tutorials are SO easy to follow. I read somewhere when you said about counting by sound... so true!! Lol 😆

hey man, i have only found your channel for a little bit now but honestly your style and even dedication to some of the tutorials helped me to get out a slump of building i had been in for a while, getting me back into the game and most importantly back to getting enjoyment out of building. i have not found any other creator who is able to provide all of these things so i think you deserve any recognition and more that comes your way, truely well done

Just so you know, with datapacks minecraft allows for a total height of over 4000 blocks. Really love when builders do size comparisons btw
Thanks, yeah I heard someone else talk about it. Do you need a mod to run a save game with the added height or will it be baked into the save file, so people who download the world with the added height can play it on vanilla Minecraft?
@@SixWings It works for everyone just based on the world file, afaik it's after whichever update changed the default height to 320, and since datapacks are vanilla and are stored in the world anyone should be able to play it.

Also is pretty cool how varied your skills are, being both good at small and simple builds and at gigantic ones, because god knows those 2 extremes require different skillsets!!

@@polarmouse3943 It's actually my version of St. Basils Church in Moscow I built way back in 2015. Probably the only build I've made where I tried to replicate a real building. But it is upscaled so the interior is nothing like the real church.
I have a finished build from about a year ago. My own take on this kind of architecture. I just haven't figurrd out how to use it in a video yet, but it's coming. 😉

I just finished making the bath house and am about to try my hand at something more ambitious (the sanctum) but i am on my knees asking for a mausoleum tutorial if one doesn't already exist! (i havent seen it yet but im hoping I just missed it)

Can you build a medieval hugeee castle on style european please
it took me 3 whole days to build the Wind Mill, now I want to build the Sanctum but I think I'll die first before even finishing the base 💀
you can leave the stone base hollow. Saves time and resources! I plan to put some farms and such underneath and landscape around the outside. I hid doorways under the stairs for access to the underneath. if youre in survival, use scaffolding when doing the tall tower parts. you can place and climb super fast. I think the whole build took me maybe 2 months. good luck, you got this!
It's an old ideology that has accompanied humans for millennia, basically it's: The bigger it is, better it is.
There's definitely a universal attraction to scale and for the purpose of a video like this, it is a great way to show them together. But personally I'm just as fond of the smaller builds. 🙂

The music definitely has a melancholic but epic sound to it. I like it myself but it can be difficult to get the right music. I listen through a lot of different tracks and some a too somber, others too grandiose. I did listened to a lot of tracks I felt were a lot sadder than this one so maybe I found it less sad in comparison. I do sense a lot of optimismen also. But yeah, I can understand that it lands differently for different people. 🙂

@@ekasapta2809 All builds are copied into a flat world. They're not meant to blend into the flat terrain. It's a size comparison, so all builds are placed so you can see the terrain that are part of each build.
