I vote for the Vulcanite "jett" cameo necklace and the lion head cloak clasp to go into the window of wonders. I really missed the roundups at the end too, and I'm very happy that you're doing them again! Thanks for including us in your adventures!
I agree! I like both of those, too!
Yes, this is my answer, too!
Have been watching the channel for a while. Just have to say Alex is beautiful! and has the a heavenly voice 😍. Great to see a Mother and Daughter with common down to earth historical and crafting interests and genuine personalities in our current world, keep doing what you do I love your channel
The necklace is by far the favorite. However, the lion hook deserves a spot as well. He is still regal in his own right.
Hello you two. Happy day's away init. We all love you very mutch. You help people with disabilities and mental health problems. That is my view. Stay safe Stay alive 🙏❤ 🙏 ❤
So happy to see a 'roundup' again. I love watching your adventures in the mud and hearing about all the treasures you take home. I love the tiniest bottle that is already one of the wonders in the window. Thanks for sharing your escapades and knowledge.
Mudlarking Barbie needs the cup for her tea!
A Northern Mudlark video and all seems right with the world. Thank you for taking us on your adventures. 💕from 🇺🇸
Well said!
I know I run away to get total myself time or am just happy at work cause I'm bored and alone. I love just feeling I am there with them. Away from America and Florida heat! Lol
Totally agree
I loved that half chicken. Cleaned up it could have been hung on a wall or some how made into a pot for plants. I love watching y'alls' adventures.
I would have taken the chicken too! Love my chickens and roosters!
I was all over that chicken like stink on a monkey 😲
Should’ve taken the chicken!
I, too, loved the chicken.
Pipe bowls are never boring.
2 strong and beautiful women making a positive mark in the world. Well done.
Hi, glad to have the round -up back. It's good to conclude with the two of you discussing the lark and the finds 🥰. I think the Mourning necklace for the window. Thanks again for sharing, stay well and have a great week xx
That half of chicken would be cute in a garden
Yes indeedy ❤
Had no idea they made jewellery from Vulcanite!
I used to have a Victorian policeman’s cape when I worked in London in the swinging sixties. You could buy them in those days from a quaint little shop called The London Sack and Bag Company. I wish I hadn’t let my cape go😢 it was very heavy woollen material and really cosy.
So my favourite was the lion clasp, it brought back lots of happy memories 😍
Just love every one of your videos, I so look forward to your adventures. Sorry I can't financially support you at this time but I tell everyone I know to watch and share, hopefully that helps a bit. Watching you guys helps keep me excited about my own finding here on the east coast of Canada and determined to upgrade my crafting with found objects. Thank you so much Gail and Alex 😍
I have never seen a vulcanized necklace. I like that the best. Window of wonders should be Policeman's Clip on. Love you ladies. God Bless. 🤗😘💖🙏
The mourning jewellery is a bit special, but I like that twisted bit of coloured glass. The light captured through that window would show it off very well.
I absolutely appreciate seeing the clean state that you manage to restore items to.
Thanks for the roundup, ladies. I had really missed them too.
And thanks for sharing another great adventure with us.
the vulcanite "jet" necklace for the window of wonders!!! and the police cape hook with the lion on it! thanks for returning the "roundup discussion" of the objects at the end!
Thank you for a trip down memory lane or should I say square! My uncle lived out the last of his years in the sheltered housing showing in today’s video x
The necklace and the dolls cup would be good for the window. I also like the cape hook from the police officer cape.
I believe the morning lady should stand alone for this week as is most fitting.
Definitely the mourning necklace for the window of wonders. One of your best finds ever I think! Great video , Thankyou
Oh thank you so much for round up at the end! I loved it! I vote the mourning necklace to go in the window and my second choice would be the lion head hook. Both items are so cool! Thanks for sharing y’all’s joy with us! ❤
That piece of jewelry is amazing, I can't believe it's Victorian, looks like something chunky from the 70's lol I liked that black and white tile, and of course pipes are always interesting!
Thank you for doing the round up at the end again! It’s always great to see the objects completely cleaned.
What fabulous finds ladies! The necklace is so detailed and very worthy of a spot in the window, I think also the policeman's cape hook should be there too 🙂Great to have a round up at the end again and also to see a shwoo!!! Have a lovely week xx
I love the mourning necklace! It's the history you share that makes your treasures so interesting! Volcanite jewelry. Who knew?! I was amazed to see how bulky the chains were. I also enjoy the round up its fun to see all of your finds together ❤️ 🇺🇲
The vulcanite necklace is incredible and the Policeman's clasp is very cool .
Everything you find could go in the window! I can’t even fathom finding such old things? I was in Israel and got to dig up goodies at an archeological dig. But, here in Texas I’d have to dig up something from the indigenous people in order to find anything very old. Love the mourning necklace fragment! Amazing. Best find of the day.
That shaving brush handle would make a perfect chimney on a miniature house!
YOU SHOULD MAKE YOUR VIDEOS AN HOUR LONG OR MORE!!!! So much fun!!
Absolute joy to watch, but I can’t help looking down whenever I go for a walk now !
Things sure cleanup nicely. The vulcanite lady pendant is so detailed. Fun treasure finds. Thanks Gail and Alex. ❤🇬🇧❤
The mourning necklace is a definite must for the window. I also liked the black pipe. It is quite an unusual color find and would standout in the window. Nice finds ladies!
Definitely the mourning necklace for the window, wow what an amazing find. Thank you for another fabulous mudlark, I really enjoyed it xxxx
So many great finds! Love the vulcanite necklace and the police cape clip. I'm so glad you kept some of the pipe bowls. Every time you put one back I was saying don't leave it! I'm loving seeing the round up back.❤️😍
I love the lions head clasp! Definitely my choice for the window. It’s amazing it survived all these years!
This is the most wholesome show on this planet, My 2 yo Granddaughter and I have our special time with Gail and Alex, your voices Soothe her and calm her. She tells me Grammy let's mudd.😊❤️
What a joy to see you again! I vote for the lion’s head clasp to join the vulcanite necklace in the window of wonders. Only a true seeker can ‘see’ the potential treasure through that much decay. Congrats on your finds!
I like the round up at the end! It’s good to see it all clean and in one place. I also like the little bits you put in to the videos about the interesting pieces! So there you go! The mourning necklace would, naturally, have been my choice too for the Window of Wonders… 👍
Hello lovely ladies! What a wonderful way to start my morning! Cup of hot tea and my favorite mudlarks! Another wonderful video with amazing finds! Funny about the '' handy'' joke, Alex took the words right out of my mouth! 😂 Between the stopple bopper, the play cipes, the doll's arm and the gloves it was inevitable!
Just wanted to add, I discovered you both not very long ago and have watched every single episode. I adore you both so much and you bring light and joy to my life!
And lastly, have you ever thought of making a Northern Mudlarks music compilation CD for sale? The music you use is fantastic and would be awesome for road trips and accompanying crafting sessions.
On that note, much love sent to you both and the shwoooos! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Such lovely finds! That vulcanite mourning jewellery, little bulb and tiny teacup are amazing! Not to mention the police clasp!
I really missed the roundups at the end because I love to hear you two talking about your finds. The mourning neclkace would be appropriate for the window of wonders in these days...
This was one of your best videos ever! So many greatest moments of finding special pieces that can be repurposed. The Victorian Necklace is a beautiful show piece and the lion’s head was amazing! Keep on finding great finds to share with us. Thanks 😊💗💗💗💗💗😊😊 I would have to get a shadow box or a glass globe to put the Necklace and the Lion 🦁 inside to protect it. Just an idea, I know how talented you both are so I’m sure you’ll figure it out. 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻 until the next adventure.
The imagery on your Victorian vulcanite pendant would likely have been inspired by classical antiquity, and sold to wealthy people on their Grand Tour. Very nice find!
The encaustic tile is superb! The limited colors reminds me of patchwork quilting.
The cameo necklace is more rare because the face is facing to the left. Most are facing to the right.
I agree! The vulcanite mourning necklace should definitely go in the window!
I would like a video on how you sort and store all of your lovely finds! The one's that you keep for yourselves, collections, and what your plan to use to make something special. I can't imagine trying to keep track of everything!
Thank you again, for a lovely day in the dump!
Cracking video, that necklace piece is just incredible, one of the most beautiful jewellery finds I’ve ever seen!! Amazing how it has survived so well 🤩👏
Love the history and like the mix of round ups during and after. The necklace is so special and is my choice for the window. X
Such amazing and different finds, i think the clasp deserves a place in the window. Glad round ups are back🙂
Hello Gail and Alex. I really enjoy your videos. All the great things you uncover and give us its history. My favorite things you find are the pipe bowls and cold marbles. Also the stoppers and cool bottles.
The vulcanite necklace looks like a museum piece. I love the history. Thank you for the research you do to bring it all together. As always a true pleasure ladies. 🌸V
Congrats on the complete workman ; the vulcanised jewellery is extremely cool. The tiles from that dump occasionally turn up complete. I have a new spade .
I love the necklace! The chain is so interesting for the times! The history and the vintage photos with similar necklaces are amazing! Well done on the research!
What great fun! This looks like a marvelous hunting site! I hope you take us bake there soon. I, for one, love to see you lovely ladies anthem throughout the video! Without you both I don't think it would be near as fun watching, I'm sure of it as a matter of fact! So film yourselves as often as you can! 👍I vote for the necklace cameo for you window. I think it was a find of the year! Please be careful and stay safe! ❤❤
Yay, a roundup at the end is back! :)
Fun finds, the necklace is beautiful and I love the complete clay pipe and the lions head uncovered from the crud.
Thanks for another great adventure and especially returning to the round-up; thank you. The mourning necklace is fabulous and should have a special display in the window of wonders indeed!
Totally awesome finds! Especially that mourning necklace! Wow! I like the history of your finds also
I think the mourning necklace is the star find on this adventure. A second would be a tossup of the small cup and the intact pipe. How often can one find such good finds in one outing really, so lucky
Thanks, I too missed the round-up at the table. I think your necklace piece is the obvious choice for the window. I do love all the pipes and Stoneware is always my favorite!!
Great finds. The cameo necklace is fascinating and totally should be in the window of wonders. And thanks for the round up. I've been missing them too. 🙂
Lion head cloak clasp to join the vulcanite jewelry in the window. It is good to see the roundups at the end again.
Thank you, thank you for bringing back the table revealing! The rubber mourning cameo is fantastic. I never seen one before. The peacock 🦚 is back. That's a lot of beads for just a month and a half. Blessings ladies.
Ohhh, how sweet! I noticed your table of wonders before you said a word and I thank you both so very much!!! Wonderful finds by two wonderful ladies. I saw a shwoo too, love it.
It is nice seeing everything cleaned up and on the table. It was a great scrounge today, and the vulcanite mourning necklace pendant and part of chain looks great in the window…what a COOL find! I’d also vote for the partial policeman’s cloak clasp to have some time in the sun, now that it’s back to a recognizable state. Not one bead today! How unusual!!😮
you ladies are awesome love watching from the back seat don't always say much but I do enjoy your time .
The history of the vulcanized mourning necklace was amazing! Never knew any such thing existed ! Thanks for including the round up at the end! Nice to see Swoo again too!!!!🥰🥰🥰
Love watching you, lots of down time because of my husband's cancer,so ty,I am able to mentally be there sometime, love the lion clasp also💗
Love your videos. You are an inspiration. You two are also such skilled artisans. Much respect and admiration.
What a wonderful video Ladies! The pendant is amazing, I didn't realise vulcanite was used for jewellery. I love the Police cape clasp, they made even the most practical thing so beautiful back in the day, my vote is it goes into the window. On the subject of round ups I must say I prefer the new format, being able to see a find cleaned up straight away and learning the history really keeps me engrossed. Hope you and yours are well 😀💗 x
I feel guilty adding to your workload, but I, too, love the round-ups. 😘 I agree with the Vulcanite necklace for the window. I noticed the piece of pink glass, likely a handle from something. It made me wonder if you've done any bead making lately. 🤔 See you again next week. 😊🤗💛👍
What treasures you found ladies.
That necklace was amazing. As was the police buckle. I'm sure that piece survived only because back in the day, it would have been looked after with pride. Polished to a high gloss. So sad to see these items just thrown away. Ah but we would have nothing interesting to look for today, if things didn't get chucked in the bin. One mans rubish is another mans treasure. These finds prove my point.
I'm one of those that missed the round up at the end of your larks. I'm glad you've re introduced it.
I'm happy with your choice of window decoration, but also loved the lion cape badge. Either is fine by me. We still have months and months left and it will soon fill up the shelf if you pick more than one piece. 😂 Its your decision at the end of the day.
Very enjoyable as always. X
I love the way you have been showing the roundup in the past year as well, it takes a lot of thought to come up with your words on things.
So nice to have your 'Round-up' return! Thank you!
The necklace is stunning. I hope you scratched around that area to see if there were anymore pieces.
Hooray, you’re back at the end of your videos for the roundup! I’ve missed it so much!
Have you ever considered opening a little bed and breakfast (or Airbnb) and then taking your guests out mudlarking? I know I would LOVE to go mudlarking with the two of you! It would be the trip of a lifetime!
I've been with you since the beginning and I would love to see you hit 100,000 subscribers 🤩🌹🇺🇸
Definitely the necklace!
Great finds! My 10yo daughter and I love watching you show together.
We can't wait to see your complete collection of beads on the string!
Love your videos! I think Barbie needs a mug of tea in your window of wonders!
SAME!
Some great finds! Speaking of missing things, I'm missing your small nature videos you used to intersperse with your mudlarking adventures. It was so artistic with the music selection; it made the overall video very relaxing. Nice job, ladies. xx
I love seeing the round up at the end! I agree the vulcanite necklace must go on the shelf.
Digging up old bottles as a teenager was such a joy when our little town was still small. Now there is nowhere to go dig legally.
Necklace for the window! Thank you for the roundup!
Yay!
Thank you for the table review at the end. It is a lovely finish to the video.
AMAZING finds as usual, The mourning necklace is just an incredible find. Also the Lions head Cape clasp, should go in the window of wonders.I absolutely love your channel.Thank you both.❤❤
For the window of wonders, I vote for the Victorian cameo Vulcanite necklace.
Also, I really really miss you saying "Stopple Bopper" instead of bottle stopper. It's kind of become your signature word, that even Willy from Dirty Secrets of Scotland can't help but saying now either... 😉
Alex, I have never seen vulcanized rubber jewelry. What a smashing find.Rubber jewelry must have been rare in the colonies. I have never heard of any being found.
I was so excited to see a new video on this rainy day here in Virginia. The treasures you found how incredible
Hi ladies! I feel like it was sooo long waiting for an upload lol I was checking daily for a video that I screamed a little when I saw this video YAY
That rubber vulcanite necklace is-so amazing! Wow what a find!! Very great finds yet again. And thank you so much for hearing us and returning back at the end. You two are amazing and so appreciated 🙏❤️
Yay! x
Hi girls that necklace is extraordinary, have never seen anything like it! Beautiful 😊
All your finds have been wonderful, thanks for taking us along on your adventures. Love the lion what a suprise x
Happy Valentine's ladies don't forget to love each other.❤️💐
Wow what a great video! You both found some amazing stuff, l love the mourning necklace and the complete clay pipe. I like watching your videos because l always learn something new. Thank you for sharing the pieces of history with us. ♥️
Fantastic to have the final roundup at the table again! And yes the mourning necklace remnant for the WoW.
An excellent tip lark!
That tip looks like a goldmine! Look at all of those freshly-dug holes 😍 loved all of this week’s finds, especially the necklace (wow!!!). Alex, I love the jumper you’re wearing in this video - all of those beautiful ships! Would you mind sharing where you bought it?
The cameo necklace is beautiful. The figure on it would be even more amazing if cast in silver.
What a fabulous mudlark! Thank you for sharing your finds and theVictorian mourning necklace is my choice for the window of wonders ❤
I so love the way you two present the history of your finds. Thank you so much for all you 2 share.
You could use knackered pipe bowls for tiny air plants, succulents. Using wire to make a pipebowl tree/plant, with diff little plants in. Oh my, the Lion face, such a good save.
I thought the 'lightbulb' was going to be interesting.
Nice finds! I vote the necklace and the piece that went with the police uniform into the windows of wonders this week. I enjoyed the round up at the end being done again. Lol if that makes since.
