When I lived in Provo the sidewalks on two sides of my house were horrible (from the 1940s). Several of us in the neighborhood pooled funds and had the sidewalks replaced around a number of houses. We lived near an Elementary school.

If the city is having issues with funding repairs, maybe they should look into where all of their budget is going to, and figure out if the pricy baseball stadium is worth the price, if they can't fix their side walks.

Cities do not care about pedestrians. It’s especially awful in SLC. I wish it was a better experience to walk in SLC than it is. Another problem in Utah is crossing those HUGE intersections that they are so proud of Brigham Young over

The fact that the timing for the lights is not long enough for even a fully abled body person to cross let alone a disabled person. The curb cuts are neck breakers in themselves let alone the sidewalks. It's easier to use the side of the streets than ever thinking about using the sidewalks. Mayer MendenhallPass doesn't care about people other than she gets her 5 seconds of shame and a paycheck.

you should talk to the contractors. who have had the contract the last 3 or 4 years. they can tell you a lot more about what take the city so long to fix the problem. and the other part of the problem is no one in the city will deal with the trees. that keep heaving the sidewalks up.

But they're fine with destroying anything historic, streets---for Trax, and other ridiculous things oh yes, art installations.
To heck with pedestrians .They cruise in beemers I'm sure.

I'm never late on paying taxes. I'm scared to death of what they would do to me if I ever were late.
