after owning some major brands I decided to go for something that is less recognised outside the watch world. Always wanted an O&W watch..so just bought them for xmas...and maaan they are absolutely stunning..the detail on dial, the combination of 2 worlds - aviation and dive put together into a tool watch..i love them..they became my daily beater..
Check out the M-series diver watches (3241 case) from the old company, if you can find one on an oyster style bracelet. They're Submariner look-alikes and unbeatable value for money; very robust, nicely styled and with good lume on all the dial markers. The O&W M5 and M6 both have fully lumed GMT bezels which look amazing at night. The M4 is pretty good as well.
I've had one for a few months and love it as well. So much that someone actually asked me to publish my first review! It's a great watch! Edit: just watched the review. I agree with all of your points! As for which strap, the grey looks perfect. But put on the Camo one from Haveston.
Was thinking about taking one on bracelet thank for bringing the long lug idea was made for nato. Make total sense for versatility with two set of hole. Probably going for the leather one as it is cheaper.
I have a 40mm O&W diver from the late 90s / early 2000s. ETA 2824-2 and has never missed a beat in a decade and I swim regularly with it. Accurate beyond belief for what it is +/- 1.5 secs a day.
Agreed! You might well have one of the M-series diver watches, all of which are terrific; the M6 with the 12-hour bezel has outstanding lume on hands/markers/bezel and mine has an astonishing accuracy of -0/+2 secs per day.
It's possibly an M-series diver watch (3241 case) from the old company. They're Submariner look-alikes and unbeatable value for money; very robust, nicely styled and with good lume on all the dial markers and bezel. Accuracy on my M6 is the same as yours - amazing!
I've had O&W watches for decades (14 different models from Albert Wajs or his Distributors at the last count), the best of which have undoubtedly been the outstanding Mirage lll chrono (Valjoux 7765) and the peerless M6 (ETA 2524-2) - a seriously impressive piece of kit and very accurate @ -0/+2 seconds per day. The O&W brand is now under new ownership so I bought the P-101 with a club member discount. It's adjusted in 3 positions and I found time keeping accuracy to be around -0/+15 seconds per day which is unremarkable. The long lug length takes a bit of getting used to unless you've got big wrists. It's a very good watch and nicely finished, but there were aspects of the design that I just couldn't live with such as the ladder style minute hand and poor lume which is only applied in 4 positions. The new management at OWZ are really helpful and there's a rumour that the style of hands might change. If the best quality lume is ever applied to all the dial markers then I would be seriously tempted to buy another
I recently purchased this watch brand new and upon receiving this watch I noticed the indice at the six-o clock was crooked and the date is off centered. I complained to the company I purchased it from and they advised take the issue up with Ollech & Wajs. I emailed Ollech & Wajs and never heard from them. Three weeks go by and I emailed them again, no response. I was able to return the watch with no issue. I hate it because I really liked the watch. I wouldn’t recommend Ollech & Wajs.

DLC coated bezel, no crown guards, possible aluminum bezel (they are hiding info on its material, why not boast if it's ceramic?)... for $1200. Nice joke O&W. This is not a modern toolwatch, it would scratch, flake and damage inside a week at a mechanics or machine shop.
I'm sure, but when you have a tight wrist and you want a diver at maximum 40mm and around 12mm thickness it's not easy to find the perfect watch, was looking into the doxa sub 200 for 990 euros but its 42mm and almost 14mm thick so that particular watch seems better for me... all depends on the person...

Hyped! I've been following this brand for a bit and they really do seem terrific. Sold hook, line and sinker.

Been waiting for this review. 🔥🔥🔥
Great great video. Really made me like this watch, loved the straps as well. If anything, I'll have a new place to check out some straps!
Great to hear!

I have one, orange dial. Not sure what model it is but its older and has the magnifying glass .
what is the bezel/insert made from? doesn't say on their site and didn't find where you confirmed that here. thanks.
I'm told it's PVD coated stainless steel.
I really have liked this brand for a while, but they are competing for my money with several other pieces.

The only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger on this one, the bezel should be lumed. That is, if it was designed to be practical.

Although not a diver per se, wished they would of lumed all the markers, making it even more functional.
well, more functional in the dark anyway, lol. I too love me some extra lume though.

Ollech and Vice
Nice set of features. The only downside is the sparse lume.
Now at $1125, on retail price, and really I find the dial and hands way too complicated, too much going on.

For this kind of money would rather look into Sinn they are much nicer.

Would be good to see it on your wrist instead of your hand.
Sadly, I'm not feeling those hands. At all.
