WOW those are some beautiful tips 🤩. Great explanation. I will be making some of those for sure. I will be ordering some more sleeves today. Thanks for linking my series.
Thanks! Your series is super useful and saved me from having to do any making filming in my tiny cupboard. I hope between us we get a few more people making tools and a few more profiles picked
Wow what a fantastic and educational video. Thanks for sharing mate i can only imagine how many hours were spent gutting and studying these locks.😮😮👏 probably more than I've spent machining them😂😂 keep up the great work👌🏻
@@crispix No I am sorry, I don't. 9mm profiles were given to countries, regions and customers. The profiles were separated geographically, politically and by user designation so as to maintain global security of the system. It's all based on the 9mm A (A=Open) and filters down from there with each root branch fitting into the one above until finally you have a single profile by itself. Most profiles the average person is exposed to today are base profiles which means they are close to being individual key profiles. If you understand profile master keying then that might help you. There is 230 9mm profiles in the matrix. Not all are in use and not all are manufactured. Some remain spare for future use (although it's out of date now). You'd have to find someone who is ex factory who is willing to give you the matrix graph. People who have it guard it jealously because it was not for public consumption. In short, every profile is related. Does that help ? I can explain the profile codes If you want. And I am a farmer by the way. 🙂
One of? ONE OF??? 😢 Seriously though, thanks! It's great to know it's useful, hoping to see a few more people get stuck in to the tool making and get some profiles picked
Great video, great picks, I have an enforcer 341, no key, not sure what you call it but looks like the classic half circle but with tonsils. Have a great day, nice picking too !!!!
Excellent video with a ton of useful info. Thanks for sharing this. I'm on the hunt for a classic, but in the meantime, I do have a profile. Do you have a link for the parts needed for tips?
Thanks, I'm glad it was useful for you. I'm afraid I don't have links and for some reason AliExpress is screwed up for me at the moment (I can only view it in French. Which I don't speak well enough to make sense of it). I also find that specific products come and go a bit there, so not always possible to repurchase. So I'm afraid you'll have to have a search - if you find what looks good but you're not sure let me know and I'll check it out if you like
I didn't show it in this video but I did scan all my profile plates and modelled them in CAD to look at exactly this. It is definitely possible, but requires some very specific dimensions and quite fine manufacturing to make the tensioner. Not very practical as a low cost home build but definitely an option for someone with access to a machine shop. So it wouldn't surprise me at all if universal tips are available for the silver bullet. Opsasec in Norway will also sell you a universal Profile pick. Of course, I can't vouch for either of these but the designers know what they are doing for sure so I should think they are good.
I'm sorry, I couldn't sell you tools. I would have to charge you more than they are worth to make it worthwhile for me. But, I believe the silver bullet can take profile tips, and Opsasec in Norway also sell a universal Profile tool. Both of these will be way, way better than anything I could make.
Great information video!!! Also very nice picking!!!!
Thanks for sharing this!!!
🐈⬛🐾🐈🐾🇬🇧🍻👏👏👏👏
Thanks Chris! More profiles need to get picked

That's great to hear! Let me know how it goes?
Fantastic video 👏 well done 👍 bravo 🍻
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it and I hope it was useful
Profiles here are SAF, OAD and SAL. All part of the 230 profile master key matrix.
Thanks Ade. Do you have more information where I could research this?

Sounds like a rainbow keyway, common in north America. Give it a go, and good luck!

Apparently the new silver bullet one profile fits all theses locks. Is that true?

hey Cris, how much for a set of tools pre made?
