I loved seeing the split screen images. I really got a sense of how it would look in use!

if I'm on a route and in the middle I decide for another route, should I close the first activity to start the other route?

Looking forward to your as usual excellent Garmin 1040 (Navigation) video, wouldn't think of buying one without, it's not real till I have seen it on VeloGPS first thanks

Can the map screen be customized ? Like say map view, speed, distance heart rate and cadence ? And yes, what passes for the 'music' is pretty bad.

You can change the number of data fields displayed with the map as well as customising each of the data fields to any of the available options (which includes those you listed provided you have the sensors). The problem with musical taste is that people will very quickly tell you something they don't like but won't really feedback what they found perfectly fine - you can't please all the people all the time 😀

Sorry, couldn't stand the terrible music anymore. So switched off after 2,5 minute.
