There are so many great lines in here! I still laugh every time I watch this episode, the best line being "I doubt that Superman has time for baseball..."
When they are about to get married and she wakes up and realizes it was all a dream I remember as a kid being soooo sad for her ..I must have been 7 or 8 years old ..this episode just gets me
@@nannogram3589 Also, in the dream, she confesses that she might have feelings for Clark - so Superman tells her the truth about his double life - and her dreaming that would indicate that she either suspects it (something we get a hint of in other episodes) or wishes for it. When she does see Clark soon after waking up she asks him, "Isn't it at least true that you're Superman?"
3:26 . . Standing around having a pleasant conversation while meanwhile the jewlry store clerk lies dead on the floor, first being injured by the dynamite explosion and then killed by the spray of bullets. . But that's OK, because it's Spring and Superman and Lois Lane are feeling horny.
Lois has her challenges for sure. But many times Noel told me that this is her favorite episode. Quite natural for her to think so, I suppose, as this one gives her the most screen time. She also recalled that John Hamilton paid her a compliment on the final scene in the episode. She said he didn't often do that.
@@jimnolt-TAC Too bad that additional year never came to pass. Jim, any idea what those scripts were about? Might there have been any additional favorite episodes for Noel?
@@SarahOstrin1 It would be nice if they made a comic series or short animated series based on those scripts. They did a comicseries in the Adam West style for Batman. So they could do one honoring Reeves.
Would have been interesting had we’d gotten that additional season if they wrote in a villain who had powers equal to Superman and seeing how he would have handled a villain the power to fight back. There was a live show George did where they did just that, the villain was Mr. Kryptonite who wore an all black costume and if not mistaken it was donated to the Superman Museum in Metropolis, Illinois by the actor who played him.
She is kinda red/brown in the hair. It is funny because Joanne Siegel/Jolan Kovacs (yeah, kinda like Rorschach, maybe there is something in there) ie Lois Lane real life prototype had redhair in real life. As will Lois Lane have in 90's' the Death of Superman and in Snyderverse trilogy. It is like poetry, truly.
It's easy to be envious of Mr. Kent's poise and charm. Perfect diction.

Noel told me several times that even John Hamilton complimented her on the final scene. Something he rarely did.
Same here. It was such a romantic episode, and then such a disappointment when she woke up from her dream. My kid heart broke for her.

I get a great big chuckle from that one! So adorable!
Also LOVE this subtle attraction between these two
Another great episode! Notice the shadows of Jimmy waiting to enter Lois' office and Clark standing to the side after she throws the paper at him.
That's what made this show so great. Styrofoam bricks and sparkler fuses.
Just like in the Three Stooges shorts.
It took these mugs long enough to notice how attractive Noel is.
Always thought Noel was a cute and pretty lady!!
Yeah Lois definitely had the horns for Superman. I remember that episode when it aired back in the 50s.
Clark and Lois were smitten with each other.
Henderson yells, "Why don't you get a room"?

Now i will show why im known as the man of..steel.
2:03 the hole was in the wall before the explosions lol
Poor Lois,so many problems.....

As Clark Kent s boss, shouldn't Perry White have insisted Clark tell him how he gets in touch with Superman?
The first part where Lois Lane is taking is edited from 📺 😢today.
In here Lois is dreaming to be Superman 's Girlfriend . In the comics starting to be his girlfriend then his wife (MRS SUPERMAN).
