A little tip: don't use stainless steel utensils on non-stick pans for the pans sake and your sake 😂. Try using wooden or silicon utensils so you don't scratch the "nonstick layer"
Yeah i heard my mum yelling in my head when she did that ahaha, silicon utensils are a god sent for non-stick

A good quality non stick pan...you can use metal....from my chef mom...
@@misscheesecake7282 Most people cannot afford good quality nonstick pans. Even basic pans can be pretty expensive. I don't have the money to spend $100+ on a pan.

one tip for the sandwich: put the bread after the bottom of the egg is slightly cooked (but the upper should be still wet) if you put the bread too early they'd be too lumpy(?) to flip~

I love the pasta with feta and grape tomatoes. I agree you need lots of fresh garlic roasting in the pan too. It gives it a deep nutty flavor and it is so yummy. My teenage son showed that recipe to me and we love it. I also think it is so funny how it is trendy to make a big pancake in a rice cooked. I did that like 10 years ago. Try baking your pancake in a cake pan in the oven. It is really good and makes pancakes quick and easy and a great way to serve larger groups.
My mom used to make pancakes in a casserole pan when she didn’t feel like doing them on a griddle 😂

That first recipe was actually already a thing WAY before TikTok! It's a slightly different recipe, but they're very similar to what the Dutch call "poffertjes", and there are special pans that you can buy to make them. Instead of syrup though, they're usually eaten with a light dusting of powdered sugar on top. :)
Poffertjes are my favourite thing ever, especially with the powdered sugar. And that special pan makes it easier. Yummmmm

The peanut butter mug cake probably tastes a little better with American peanut butter, cuz most American peanut butter has a ton of sugar in it, lol. Most Aussie peanut butter is barely sweet, at all and I'm guessing the same is the case in Singapore, especially given the savoury ways peanut butter is typically used in Southeast Asian cooking.
And some flour too, with leavening agent. With the egg alone, it will taste more like some sweet omelet, without the "flour" taste associated with cake

I was intrigued by the pasta dish and made it a few months back. It was honestly delightful. I did not have cherry tomatoes at home so I used big tomatoes I roughly cut in bite size. And of course a lot of basil.
10/10 would recommend that one.
Also the mug cake recipe is basically an omelette with peanut butter. I'd try to as flour and milk and a bit more sugar to balance the additional ingredients. That would really make a cake lol

The instant noodle one where u add grated garlic, egg, Japanese mayonnaise & the seasoning from the instant noodles into a bowl and mix. Then cook ur noodles in water like normal once noodles are ready pour hot water into the egg mixture and mix like a soup, add noodles and garnish with cut up spring onions is really good

A little Tip for the Feta Pasta: I bake it with the garlic (I use a lot😅) too and I also add oregano, parsley and basil (just what I have at home) before baking. That adds a little more taste and in my opinion it tastes gorgeous with these extra ingredients and I rlly love the recipe 🥰
do you end up with large chunks of garlic in or does it get soft like the tomatoes and mix in? 🤔

I tried the baked feta pasta and thought it was just okay. Feta cheese is strong so it takes over the whole dish. And after it starts to cool down the sauce kinda seizes up. It doesn't reheat well either. I do love baked feta with olive oil, garlic, tomatoes, olives, and banana peppers served with warm baked pita bread though.
