    Great way is to test your lt2 with your 50-60min race for a fit athlete. Take that av heartrate and use 80-87% of that hr value. Zone 1 is 68-79% of lt2. 8hrs a wk in Zone 1 to 2 works very well for serious runners. Cheers

    Noone should be eating 60% protein per energy total yes. 45% as a maxium. Id say 65/35% fat & protein is near optimal for hormone signalling incorporating fatty ruminant as primary food.
