I love how when someone has a differing opinion to the common group-think of the moment, immediately their political affiliation is brought up and used as some sort of means of vilification. Nothing in what he said spoke to a political leaning, and if anything, he showed absolute respect to the situation while also thinking that there might be a better way to negotiate that doesn't require shutting down an entire business sector.
Seems pretty cut and dry to me.
"oh so he's Republican." He's CANADIAN.
These are actors. They get to play pretend and get paid for that. Most of these people get paid A LOT for pretending to be a character.... God forbid they speak in their own words, with their own opinion. FFS.
