I've been doing a ton of filming since the start of the New Year & already have 2 out of 3 pages filmed for the next Create This Book episode!! Can't wait to finish that video for you all. These kits are so fun! I also feel like it’s kinda genius how everything is made from very basic materials and the paper and stencils are just so smart
This looks like a great buy for an adult crafter who loves a lot of tiny details and has the patience for it. That's a lot of hours! It would keep me occupied for a good while. For only $10? That's an amazing deal for people into this sort of thing. Great video and very helpful!
I bought all three of these kits...they are quite complicated .but fun ..but awesome...its a perfect covid hobby to keep you busy ...just watch a tutorial on them and get the right kind of glues for it ...i used 3 kinds ...because it will make your project a success or a failure ....oh an very another important kit tip .....scan or make photocopys of the paper cut out pages .before you start the kit you sre human and you are going to make small stupid mistakes in the making of this kit .....i did .....if you do an error in cutting ...or gluing then it really nice have a copy to fall back on .. one .first thing that i do with any dollhouse kit is a kit inventory of the parts ...hope this helps
I started to learn Japanese, and can now tell between Chinese and Japanese. It is interesting how you start lerning one language you really get to know what is not Japanese. It is weird. After I visited Tokyo I can now tell between spoken Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. I found that interesting while I was there. FYI... Tht was Chinese.

I've done three kits like this, in the bunny series. I really like them, because I prefer to work in a small scale and with lots of details. I also really like these when I'm feeling just a little creative, but don't wanna start a big project. I can just sit down and make a chair or two, or a tiny bed, and then that might be enough for the day.
Yes i bought the same 3 series of the kits ...they are sooo pretty . And awesome looking ...u cannot hurry when u make these kits ....hint.... i visit the photo copy store ..And make extra copies of the paper cutout template paper sheets located at the back pages of the manual ..... i usually get 3 copies made of each page ...because ....i want to do a good job at making this kit ...plus knowing myself...going to make errors in cutting and glueing of these items .....So these paper copies give me peace of mind ...since i will have another chance making the paper cutout item again....

Dont feel bad or hold your self to videos that give you stress. We are here thick and thin and dont apologize its been a hard year, we aren’t going to stop watching because theres less videos seems counter intuitive lol. Be kind to your self beautiful!
Ive done 2 of the bigger houses so far. they take for absolute EVER but i find it very relaxing and satisfying when im done. the kits are super well made and quickly becoming one of my favorite hobbies.
These ultra miniature kits are not too bad in price ....i purchased my kits on aliexpress or ebay for under 20 dollars ..including shipping ...but then ...my experience with aliexpress .... they took around a month to arrive ...if you dont mind waiting ..... Maybe amazon. Is faster .....hopefully some birthday or christmas money ...will come your way ....even pray about it ...you never know what can happen when u put your wish out to the universe .....stay well

They are a great covid pastime, cute as well ..and i have developed some tips along the way that will make a difference of success or failure in making this kit and other dollhouse kits . First of all .....there are lots of youtube tutorials on these types of kit ...watch them .... do not go in cold ... making the kit without watching them...cannot stress this enough . BE PATIENT .as you go along ..this kit cannot be done overnight . I have taken a month or longer in making the bigger huge type dollhouses ...IN MAKING THIS KIT, YOU CANNOT HURRY .....BECAUSE IF YOU DO ..YOU WILL MAKE ERRORS ..SET ASIDE A QUIET SPACE AWAY FROM PETS ...AS MUCH AS YOU LOVE YOUR FURRY BABIES....I HAD KITTY JUMPING UP AND SHOVING MY BITTY PIECES ONTO THE FLOOR ... learned the hard way ...lol.....i had to put my equipment away each time After working on my project ... as much as i love kitty i stored the kit in the box it came in..i cannot stress this enough ...Do a kit inventory of all the parts ..very .important . And test the LED lights to make sure they work.. another VER IMPORTANT TIP.... SCAN OR MAKE COLOR PHOTOCOPIES OF THE CUTOUT PAPER TEMPLATE PAGES LOCATED TOWARDS THE BACK OF THE PAPER MANUAL before you start the kit because you are human and you are going definately going to make cutting and glueing errors ...and these photocopies will actually save your project life ...already this person who made this video ran into trouble making this kit and stopped making it because of these simple errors.... i hope that they will have finished this kit .it would have been awesome to have seen it done . Everyone is human and i made my share of blunders ..DO NOT CUT OUT THE PAPER TEMPLATES PIECES TILL YOU ARE READY TO WORK ON EACH INDIVIDUAL OBJECTS OR ITEMS IN THE KIT cut them out as you go along ..less loss of the paper pieces in the long run ..and sometimes you have to trim the paper pieces and fit them in as you go along ...use fine pointed scissors. you can get very fine pointed embroidery scissors at ebay or aliexpress that are inexpensive ..do not use big scissors ...you can also use an exacto knife or hobby knife to cut out some of the paper parts ...they do have their use .. but i found the tiny embroidery scissors better ..in doing these small kits better USE PROPER POINTY TWEEZERS.....i use needle pointed type of tweezers . They are in inexpensive as well....plus go to the dollar store and get those inexpensive clamps or clothes pins to hold glued objects in place .till they dried ...and have have even used bits of tape to temporary hold glued parts together ...and peeled tape off carefully after glue dried ....store completed objects or little items in a empty pill bottle ...you dont want to lose those tiny completed items ..I USE 3 TYPES OF GLUE ....WHITE CRAFT GLUE ,CRAZY GLUE ...AND THE THICK CLEAR ALCOHOL OR ACETONE based type GLUE CALLED SILIGLUE OR BEACON GLUE,etc ....THE LAST type of GLUE IS GOOD FOR GLUING ON LED LIGHTS, WIRES OR METAL PARTS ..OF THE KIT TOGETHER....i found a slight problem with the crazy glue ...it leaves a small white residue after drying ...i still use it but it has its place ....in making these kits ...another thing . Use a small toothpick ..piece of wire .or fine paint brush ...to apply glue on all those fine tiny fiddly surface parts..... make sure u clean the paint brush appropriately if u go that route ..u can control the amount of glue better .... gives a neat and more tidy project appearance ....you dont want big gobs of glue on your small fiddly kit pieces ..... glue the LED LIGHTS IN THE KIT ON WITH THE THICK CLEAR ACETONE OR ALCOHOL based GLUE ......temporary clamp or tape the lights in place after gluing ..till glue dries ...note ...i have used many types of glue ....fingernail glue.,UV ultraviolet glue ,gorilla gel glue and regular gorilla glue , crazy gel glue etc ..those had their uses .. but keep it simpler.... when starting out for the first time ....and when u get more comfortable in making these kits you can branch out and experiment ..i have other tips that i use ...but the ones listed here are mainly for those just beginning this hobby...you will have greater success..with your kit project ...and even you will feel pleased ,proud at what you can accomplish when u have completed it .....this is a great covid pasttime .. so wish everyone well in their attempts at making this kit ..... sorry this post is so long ...happy crafting .everyone ...stay well.!
I built a bigger version of a mini house, suggestion for cutting the patterns ... Craft knife vs scissors. So much easier. Good job on first kit, so fun.
I made a few of those theater boxes and I love them, but you should take your time for it. I never made a big one and would love to see it. Maybe you can make several videos about that one. Make videos in small steps and show more about the process. so you don't have to rush to finish and get a video out, because that way you can also let it rest for a bit and continue when you feel ready for it again.

I actually do these miniatures all the time. I started with the larger ones and recently decided to try one about the size of yours and I couldn't finish it, it was just too small. Try the larger one, I think you'll find it more manageable.
I love watching miniature videos - I am always inspired to try. But then I remember that I have zero patience when it comes to glueing. I'd likely end up using hot glue or super glue haha.
Great video. I got inspired watching the Hollycopter, Maqaroon and Nerdecrafter do these d.i.y. room kits in the past, so I bought one. I still haven't done it😂xx
I so want to do something like this. Ive always enjoyed doung models growing up. In models my favorite would have to be cars. I can learn the different parts of the cars engine at the same time location as i put it together. But always wanted to do a doll house. My dream would be to do an actual doll house and have working lights detailed shingles, siding etc. But also have working doors and windows that you can open as well. But the price point for that is actually quite expensive. But a mini doll house would actually be a starter. Thank you very much for showing these. I work at amazon. So ill have to check this out. 👌👍👍

My first miniature kit was sams garden (your larger kit). Part way through I was kicking myself for not starting with a smaller kit. But I preserved. Now months later my spare bedroom has become a miniature-fest. I think I need a larger house...😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

I have to hand it to you Sarah, there would have been no way in hell I would do something like that, I don't have the ambition or the patients, I'd probably resort to throwing it out a window (not literally LOL). I've done many Lego sets, and some craft kits and those have driven me nuts, so nice job not giving up on that mini dollhouse! Oh and I loved the description of the glue, "Its so gooey". I did the country side kit a month ago! I didn't like the smell of the glue. And I didn't have scissors so mine didn't look as neat as yours. But overall, it was worth it for the price! Its cute and I like how the lights look.

Yes! Hopefully by spring I release some sort of art pieces / stickers / and or hoodies (+ more throughout the year). I just got an iPad Pro & am practicing designing things in Procreate.
I also really hated how long everything took to dry so I used super glue, uv/led nail rhinestone gel, and the kokuyo glue dot liner so I didn’t have to wait lol
I'd have to get on a definite schedule for that so I could tell the videographer what time to film me. haha But if I really need certain footage I can ask my fiance to help (when he's not working).
I love how Sarah films her videos! They are so genuine and she really shows it how it is from her perspective. Plus we're still in a pandemic so I'm sure she doesn't want to be bringing in people at this time.

Use a small toothpick ..piece of wire .or fine paint brush ...to apply glue on all those fine tiny fiddly surface parts..... make sure u clean the paint brush appropriately if u go that route ..u can control the amount of glue better .... gives a neat and more tidy project appearance ....you dont want big gobs of glue on your small fiddly kit pieces ..... glue the LED LIGHTS IN THE KIT ON WITH THE THICK CLEAR ACETONE OR ALCOHOL based GLUE ......temporary clamp or tape the lights in place after gluing ..till glue dries ...note ...i have used many types of glue ....fingernail glue.,UV ultraviolet glue ,gorilla gel glue and regular gorilla glue , crazy gel glue etc ..those had their uses .. but keep it simpler.... when starting out for the first time ....and when u get more comfortable in making these kits you can branch out and experiment ..i have other tips that i use ...but the ones listed here are mainly for those just beginning this hobby...you will have greater success..with your kit project ...and even you will feel pleased ,proud at what you can accomplish when u have completed it .....this is a great covid pasttime .. so wish everyone well in their attempts at making this kit ..... sorry this post is so long ...happy crafting .everyone ...stay well.!

I built a bigger version of a mini house, suggestion for cutting the patterns ... Craft knife vs scissors. So much easier. Good job on first kit, so fun.
I made a few of those theater boxes and I love them, but you should take your time for it. I never made a big one and would love to see it. Maybe you can make several videos about that one. Make videos in small steps and show more about the process. so you don't have to rush to finish and get a video out, because that way you can also let it rest for a bit and continue when you feel ready for it again.

I actually do these miniatures all the time. I started with the larger ones and recently decided to try one about the size of yours and I couldn't finish it, it was just too small. Try the larger one, I think you'll find it more manageable.

I love watching miniature videos - I am always inspired to try. But then I remember that I have zero patience when it comes to glueing. I'd likely end up using hot glue or super glue haha.

I so want to do something like this. Ive always enjoyed doung models growing up. In models my favorite would have to be cars. I can learn the different parts of the cars engine at the same time location as i put it together. But always wanted to do a doll house. My dream would be to do an actual doll house and have working lights detailed shingles, siding etc. But also have working doors and windows that you can open as well. But the price point for that is actually quite expensive. But a mini doll house would actually be a starter. Thank you very much for showing these. I work at amazon. My first miniature kit was sams garden (your larger kit). Part way through I was kicking myself for not starting with a smaller kit. But I preserved. Now months later my spare bedroom has become a miniature-fest. I think I need a larger house...😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

I have to hand it to you Sarah, there would have been no way in hell I would do something like that, I don't have the ambition or the patients, I'd probably resort to throwing it out a window (not literally LOL). I've done many Lego sets, and some craft kits and those have driven me nuts, so nice job not giving up on that mini dollhouse! Oh and I loved the description of the glue, "Its so gooey". I did the country side kit a month ago! I didn't like the smell of the glue. And I didn't have scissors so mine didn't look as neat as yours. But overall, it was worth it for the price! Its cute and I like how the lights look.

I also really hated how long everything took to dry so I used super glue, uv/led nail rhinestone gel, and the kokuyo glue dot liner so I didn’t have to wait lol

I'd have to get on a definite schedule for that so I could tell the videographer what time to film me. haha But if I really need certain footage I can ask my fiance to help (when he's not working).
