Ducati M900 oil change

This week a little Monday maintenance on the 2001 Ducati Monster 900 as I wait on parts for other projects. There’s a little reading between the lines in the owners manual on changing the oil on this bike. I know this maybe routine for some people but I figured I would post this up as to help others tackle there first oil change that maybe new to the world of motorcycling. I used Castrol Power 1 sae 10w-40 full synthetic motorcycle oil and a K&N oil filter part # KN-153 . I recommend checking your owners manual for the recommended oil type and oil filter. Hey what year is that bike ? …I am not sure that bike takes 4 qts

It’s a 2001 takes just under 4 qts. The video shows 3.75 qts it’s at the end .
