I have been watching your older videos. I'm nothing short of impressed by your style of playing. Videos like these are giving me more info of how bass should be played. Thank you for posting .
Kevin, still fantastic! We played together in 2000 in Austin in the Continental Club, in seperate bands of course. Me, with the Haystack Hi-Tones as opener, you were next there with High Noon. Afterwards we've played some bass together and you showed me what you can do. I still have it on video! Absolutely an amazing night!
Great video. Love it. My only request is that you find a room that's not that "bright" for recording these videos. The sound got muddied with the drums and it became less enjoyable to listen to.
I filmed this one years ago without much of the equipment. I just wanted to document these great players. Hopefully the new ones have better sound. Thanks for the suggestion!

Kevin Smiths rules..bass sounds huge.
Solo rockabilly bass sounds like a tap dancing elephant. :D I love it!
I might add that description in my CV :)
