This is a terrific vehicle. The turret is a little big, but turrets on real life vehicles like this are often very large. My only complaint is I wish you could put a figure in the turret all the way down, with a closing hatch, like in the hull. Top tier vehicle, no question about it.
Cool! If I recall correctly, you can actually hold a couple more figures inside the Equalizer. The back part of the turrent opens up, giving you a small additional play area. No seats or anything, but I always appreciated when any vehicle could carry a small squad of figures without them hanging on for dear life on the side, like the APC, the Killer Whale and the Tomahawk. An excellent acquisition to your collection.
I would store even more figures in the main body through the old battery hatch. This thing was kind of an accidental carrying case for figures.
Am glad that you catched that rare tank .
Thanks to this video I bought myself a GI Joe equalizer. Hopefully you can do a full review soon
Holy shit I had this as a kid. Wish I still had it
I remember finding this below my stocking on Christmas of 1990. My cousin was pissed because he thought it was his. Pleasant surprise when I find my name on the name tag.
thanks for the review helped me out on completing my equalizer!! keep up the great content!!
Never knew too much about Python Patrol or Slaughters Marauders vehicles other than they were re issued older vehicles! Thank you for taking the time to share these videos with us!
One of my favorite vehicles as a kid. I also have all the night force vehicles as well from Toys R Us.
I had this one.
Good times.
Cannot wait to see the full review.
This looks really cool. I might have to get one.
That is a sweet looking tank. I have never seen one in person.
Cool review of a fun big tank
This thing is badass.
The one slaughter marauder item I don’t have
Great quick look at a Perfect vehicle, The only thing that could have made it better is that they kept the real treads.
Honestly I always wanted this one motorized. The motorized vehicles I had never burned out (they ATE batteries whole though), maybe the one thing they needed was a sort of neutral gear so you could roll it without straining everything when you didn't want to use the motor. Still, this would have been worth the extra cost to turn on and roll into battle!
The Mauler is how I tested and determined that the Tank Traps that came with the Machine Gun Defense Unit set in 1984 would actually work, BTW.
Wow! 👍😮
There is also a cavity on the back it's been years and you still haven't review it
Hasbro should have released the Mauler without the power function.
When is the full review coming
Did slaughter marauders get their armor vehicles from the 3rd armor division because this second vehicle with that patch.
Personally I think the removal of the motorized treads gives it more playability long term Those treads are fragile now and motors burn out. Also keeps the price point down.
yeah, they could keep their damn motorized vehicles,
One of the more realistic looking vehicles of the line, which is saying a lot for something that came out in 1989. By that time most vehicles were laughably unrealistic with fully exposed crew, covered in secondary machine guns, and with random missiles stuck to the hull all over, as if designed by a 6 year old.
Just got to your Slaughter's Marauders reviews noticed that the version 2 of Spirit was not in the line up. Is this something you haven't acquired yet? If you have will it be reviewed someday? Just curious since I loved the subset especially him.
But can you kitbash it with the Lynx to make a full camo Mauler???
...but will it hold a modern figure? Like to see that.👍😉

Wow great vehicle and with a blow drier u can straighten that cannon its lil bent out of shape
The cannon isn't bent. It's straight. That's an illusion cause by the outside bar that curves in at the front.
HoodedCobraCommander788 ooohhh. My badz
Looks like it was based on the Soviet 2s6 antiair weapon.
I think more like someone took a Flakpanzer Gepard and slapped some ADATS missile tubes on the side, but yeah.
