Yes mate but I do hundreds of miles in rain and snow come Friday it's horrendous ... Well, by Wednesday it's horrendous , apologies if I hurt your eyes mate hahaha
Hello mate, from that point of view , it's terrible, you should see my winter jacket it's covered in slime from the motorway/highway and it won't even wash off, terrible ... But it looks a lot better with that and a small plate. Thanks for watching!
+mule65x I personally adore the way they've set the whole thing up on the new MT09, wouldn't move it ... The signals are already under the seat but the hugger has to stay
totally, I think that the place where it is oem make the bike look unique, I'm definitely going to buy the r&g tidy, and use your video for the install! thanks man!
Thanks for the feedback mate, don't know what to say about the volume of the voice changing as it's all recorded in one go in a single file from a separate audio recorder, but the music bit I get, I'll aim to lower the volume a bit on the music in the future , I already have a few videos ready where I can do much but I'll consider it appreciate the honest feedback mate. Thanks for watching.
Daniel Bandeira tell me about it, 400 miles a week in English weather, come Saturday morning that’s what it looks like, you should’ve seen it after the storm we had this week, it looked like a bike from the Dhakar Rally
Haven't ridden on many tyres but I'm always going back to them. My last crash, I was too confident in my grip being used to the Metzler from the old bike but I forgot I had the OEM on my new bike. I also have a review of the Metzler in my older videos. Thanks for watching mate... Ride safe
Completely full of grime, if I don't wear an additional layer between the jacket collar and helmet I get the grime dripping down my back... Not the best experience... I'm assuming you've been through this as you know the drill...
Dennis Thor Halvorsen Eastern Europe mate, been to Sweden a couple of times with work... Everybody spoke perfect English everywhere I went , was great!
Dude, you know that make one that puts it under the brake light, right? You should have gotten that one. It gets rid of that ugly ass bar over the rear tire.
@@AJHDuk I do commute but I clean my bike every time I'm home but the look of your bike it's like you don't clean it very often that's my point because in your video it's a dry day and your bike has stubborn dirt like it's not been cleaned for a good while all that dirt and wetness and salt from the roads will for sure ROT your bike, look after your bike and it will last longer FACT, some bad arse flat spot on that back tire too.
Thanks for the video man. As a side note, it's clear Yamaha designed this thing as a BUMPER it's not simply a license plate holder.
Omg! All i could think of was how dirty your bike was! Do u ever clean it? :D

@@AJHDuk Damn I have the exact same problem. Does it helped a little bit having install this tail tidy or is it making no difference at all?
@@sainorr5 only makes it worse ... As you get more mud thrown up
@@AJHDuk DANG!! So I'm good just passing by that thing I guess... lol
From my personal point of view, if you're looking for style buy it, looking for practicality , don't buy it. Thanks for watching mate.
Is it possible to move everything to under the seat? Or do you need to rewire lots of cables? I mean to buy a tail tidy for under the seat?
Great and informative video! Thanks!
DOUBLE0SEVEN thanks for watching, appreciate the comment...
Thanks for the video. Do you find that it still protects you from the back tire flinging stuff on you in the rain? Is it the right angle?
Hello mate, from that point of view , it's terrible, you should see my winter jacket it's covered in slime from the motorway/highway and it won't even wash off, terrible ... But it looks a lot better with that and a small plate. Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much for the walkthrough / install my dude. Very helpful. Your Jay-Z music was too loud though between intervals.
yep, too loud. It's annoying
You're supposed to remove the giant tire hugger and move the plate and signals under the seat.
+mule65x I personally adore the way they've set the whole thing up on the new MT09, wouldn't move it ... The signals are already under the seat but the hugger has to stay

+forestgumpz glad you like it mate! Enjoy the bike!
No. It’s not a crotch rocket.
Yea just like everyone else. Keep it where it is
Music too loud voice not loud enough constantly changing volume up and down

@@AJHDuk no problem otherwise great instructional video man
That is one dirty ass bike

AJHD ok. Tail tidy looks good . I have the same bike . How do we fix the lighting problem ? It's driving me crazy
What lighting problem? What do you mean?
Have you ridden at night in a dark twisty road ? The headlight create a rectangle that distorts on turns
I have a 2014 that didn't come with the mudguard but I want one. Anyone know what the p/n is?
Sorry mate, no idea but you should have a look on the RG Racing website, they have a ton of product listed there. Thanks for watching!
there is a magical word that you should learn "CLEANING" lol
Thanks, do it every two weeks but when you do 20,000 miles a year in English weather it's hard to keep it clean for more than 2 days mate
yeah i get your point .. just wrote this coz i kinda felt for the bike.. lol all good mate .. ride safe.. i'm probably getting a 2018 mt09 next week
Suman enjoy the bike, awesome. Where are you buying it from ?
AJHD from team moto
Off topic how did you find the Metzelers?
Haven't ridden on many tyres but I'm always going back to them. My last crash, I was too confident in my grip being used to the Metzler from the old bike but I forgot I had the OEM on my new bike. I also have a review of the Metzler in my older videos. Thanks for watching mate... Ride safe
@@AJHDuk thanks for the reply, they look good and I'm hearing good stuff about them. Once my OEM's are toast I'll get some.
Buenas me gustaría saber un poco más sobre la mt 09
How often do you clean your chain? The bike need's cleaning but that chain is filthy and looks dryer than a nun's nasty
Lube it once a week or when it rains maybe on a daily but clean wise I only clean and scrub it one every two to 3 weeks...
Does it protect you from the rain though?? Or does your back get covered in road grime. I may get the neater yamaha one after seeing this.
Completely full of grime, if I don't wear an additional layer between the jacket collar and helmet I get the grime dripping down my back... Not the best experience... I'm assuming you've been through this as you know the drill...
AJHD no I've just bought a mt-09sp pick it up next week and was curious. I've gone for the neater yamaha one that keeps the mudguard
Good choice mate, enjoy the bike, tried it, it's fantastic!
@@01phantomx how's the bike working mate a year down the line ?
Great video but that bloody musics too loud
Is it possible to mount indicators on this license plate holder? It looks like there is not enough space on the left side.
hmm`- no
as Sam said mate, no, not with this one, maybe if you get a different tail tidy, but not this one... Thanks for watching.
Are you originally from Sweden?!
Dennis Thor Halvorsen no mate, sorry
Ok just having difficulty placing your accent
Dennis Thor Halvorsen Eastern Europe mate, been to Sweden a couple of times with work... Everybody spoke perfect English everywhere I went , was great!
clean your bike dude x-x
Gavin Draculia do you live in the UK?
Looks like Guildford
You know what they say, looks like Guildford, sounds like Guildford, it must be Guildford ... Thanks for watching.
12 minutes of video and zero shot of bike itself...
I've got dozens of videos with the bike, plus this was all about the tail tidy . Thanks for watching mate .
Dude, you know that make one that puts it under the brake light, right? You should have gotten that one. It gets rid of that ugly ass bar over the rear tire.
Hey, unfortunately I actually like the rear hanger hence why I decided to keep it.
Oh. Sorry. I know now that some people do like that look. Cheers.
plate will get thrashed in a year
It got trashed in less than that because it's acting like a mudguard... It's ok tho I changed the bike 👍
AJHD what bike you get?
Worst part of the bike is that plate hanger, so hideous.
I don't know mate, with the new bit from R&G I actually like the look ...
@@AJHDuk Well that's all that matters really.
yep..yamaha really mess it up with that plate holder , i cant wait to get mine of the bike
