Wicked vidoe mate. This is an awesome tutorial for the guys dipping their toes in to painting. I have a quick question for you. I am repainting a VT in Tiger mica. I will be doing a silver base. Do you advise sanding back the silver base before laying down the Tiger Mica?
If your doing it all in one day no . I only sanded the black in spots due to dust landing in the black base . If your painting the car try get it done in 5-6 hours . Outside of those hours it pays to sand the silver base before spraying more Color or you could have your clear delaminate
Looks good mate, I like that colour and you can see the blue behind the green eh. That clear lays down nice too,. 👍🇭🇲 What city are you in? East Coast or here in Perth. Cheers.
Great video, thanks. I was wondering how the candy green would look without the metallic blue base coat? Do blue tinges come through the green in certain light? Cheers.
Due to spraying 5 wet coats of candy a lot of the blue is hidden . This Harley had the blue applied not to show the blue but to give the bike a dark drop off out of direct sunlight but still being dark green .
Wow that looks real close to a John Deere green Candy?? Im trying figure out something real close to john deere green but in a candy paint for my pulling tractor what are the colors of the paint who would ever think blue metallic eh
That blue base gives the perfect shade of green. Very nice!
