The whole story of Abraham is my favorite. From the time he left Ur and got to the land of Canaan he was faithful, but still made mistakes, yet God said, he was "the friend of God" in the Bible. How incredible! If you don't have it already, there is a book called, 'Patriarchs and Prophets', by Ellen G. White. It has the story of Abraham using several chapters. It's absolutely captivating. Abraham didn't tell Sarah though. He had to have compassion for her heart and her faith or growth of such. She is mentioned in Hebrews 11 though, which is pretty telling in itself.

This was beautifully written. If it is alright, I would just like to add that the holy couple might actually be Jacob and Leah, because it is Leah who God saw was unloved by her husband, and God blessed her with six sons, one of which was Judah - the ancestor of Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior.

I love how this story has so much emotion with so little words. I can see the pain and love the Abrahan and Issac had in the moment at the alter. All of the actors did an excellent job bring to life this story.
Most of the things God will tell us to do is humanly impossible for us. But we still have to follow is all humility and obedience. God loves such as these.

I love how this story has so much emotion with so little words. I can see the pain and love the Abrahan and Issac had in the moment at the alter. All of the actors did an excellent job bring to life this story.
