For that to be true than it would have to make New Testament claims but doesn’t. New Testament needs Jewish scripture or else it would crumble, why do you think early xtian church fathers glued New Testament to the back of the Jewish Tanach?

The bible is a history book and it is the oldest book known to man, God is love choose this day whom you shall serve, one cannot serve both Love (God) and money.
@ryansantillan-saenz7920 it’s incredible how the story of Abraham and Issac fits so amazingly with Jesus’s death, it’s amazing if you look at it with the greater context in the Bible having to do with the crusifixion. Remember how isaac had to carry the wood he would be sacrificed on? Same with Jesus, He had to carry his cross. After everything was done God promised Abraham that He would bless all nations on earth through his offspring, which at that time wasn’t fulfilled. Also apparently God told Abraham He would provide the lamb, then God provided a Ramb instead of a lamb. He decided to provide that lamb later in time. Also after Abraham was finished there he named that place “the Lord will provide” and it says in the Bible that on that mountain it will be provided. That would be confusing without knowing what we know today. But apparently Jesus who is also known as “the Lamb of God” went and carried the wood He would be sacrificed on just like Isaac, and on the same mountain which it was predicted, and since He is the Lamb of God it also means the lamb God told Abraham He would provide was provided thousands of years later through Jesus, and through Jesus all nations on earth were blessed through His death and resurrection on that cross. And that’s how God redeemed man, and used Abraham’s and Isaac’s lives to tell a great story that happened thousands of years later.

I just got off work and said to myself " lord I want to know stories from the Bible" and then Abraham came to mid. I knew little of this great man. And I searched Abraham.. Baam! This beautiful story popped up and ohh my God how incredible of a story . Thank you all for giving me some spiritual food for my mind and soul. How come theres been no divine intervention besides the bible? And Since I studied history Ancient Human Civilization. I can tell you this that the bible copied their Stories from 1st documented civilization The original genesis story, talks about how long it took to create Adam and all the failure in trying to humans on the way before Adam and it talks about DNA too. I know right? considering the origin genesis story pre dates the bible by 5 thousand years and that human history dates as far back to 400 thousand BC but we only have records dating 5k BC with history dating all the way back to 400BC. Look up the Sumerian kings list. book of Cain, book of Noah is also really good too because it actually explains what really happened in our solar system and to cause the ice capsule to melt and due this information we now know when the ice capsules will melt again and what we need to be on the look out. the bible dose not provide that information in the book of Noah why did they leave that out when they were copying the original story? My guess would be well if your going to create a God 1st kill all the educated people, 2nd make reading a sin and punishable by death any woman caught reading will be bunt alive, 3rd use the military brain washing technic a good solder never questions orders well in this case since the society can't read now tell them you never question God. Also if your going to make a god to be all knowing you may want to leave out the part in genesis 3:9 the Lord god called to man Where are you? God perched for Adam and Eve in the garden of eden. An absolute masterclass in story telling
That was a spectacular demonstration of God's divine plan. Powerful, absolutely omnipotently powerful. I love how narration was withheld and replaced with silence at the exposition that Abraham was to sacrifice his own son. Because words truly cannot begin to convey the test that Abraham had been given. There are no words, just as Abraham withheld his own tongue at the test. It simply was. It was simply his duty.

I've been watching your videos, grateful to expand my knowledge of the story of God's loving relationship to us. I went to parochial school and was taught the Bible when I was a kid, but didn't really understand anything. Now at age 67 I'm learning something new and I think I'm finally "getting it".

Yo bro I haven't read the Bible and heard old stories like this in a while. I'm really glad you made this video. Some things that I've now learnt is that Lot is actually related to Abraham and the mountain where Abraham was gonna sacrifice Isaac was Golgotha. It's really making me realize that God was making a storybook saga this entire time. I just wished it didn't end.

When God speaks of a “new” covenant, it means he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear.
2 Corinthians 3:6
He has enabled us to be ministers of his new covenant. This is a covenant not of written laws, but of the Spirit. The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life.
I do not disrespect you, but when you said "there is no new testament" you would be denying the very promises of Adonai, and his Messiah that initiated the new covenant with his blood. Go re-read the words of Isaiah (Chapter 53) and compare them to Jesus. I am not here to argue with you, but I just want you to think about it. May the LORD's Shalom be with you.

When the angel Gabriel told Mary that she was to be the one; called The Annunciation and she responded with “let it be done unto me as you have said”, most Bible scholars believe that is when the Immaculate Conception occurred.

God doesn't lie (Numbers 23:19)
When God said to Abraham that he had to to sacrifice his son to him, in order to prove his faith, he wasn't lying. He was just stating alternative facts, in order to see if Abraham would do, what he already, with 100% certainty, knew that he would do.
The bible is a perfect book. It needs the correct interpretations to be understood, and that makes it even more perfect.

Great work! I’d love to help write scripts. I’m educated in the history of religion and mythology, and I love content like this which tows the line between religious truth and historical context.
I think this channel would greatly benefit from extended versions of these videos with more citations and a more academic discussion of translations and contemporary history. Of course there are many complicated and troubling details left out here (e.g. Lot offering up his daughters) to create Abraham’s specific narrative. I once was so different, I once was a prostitute, a drug addicted schizophrenic, a sinner in need of salvation, and He has answered every question we have in regards to the evil in this world that we may have pending questions about. Reach out, beloved, He is always good to us. I have been healed, delivered and have turned away from the sins that were destroying my life and now I follow Him. At the mercy of His feet, cry out to Him, and just ask Him anything you are needing to know. I love you!

You forgot to mention that Abram had an alliance with the Amorites when he waged war against the Four Kings. So, while I believe God gave Abram and his allies the victory, I'm not entirley sure it was nearly single handedly. We have to be careful about representing the BIble accurately and avoid over-sensationalizing, because that's when the dectractors begin to have a field day with us.
