I made a half portion using sweetened coconut flakes with the ginger! Excellent! The ginger is really too delicious. This is the ideal candy recipe for two reasons: no need to buy corn syrup, and no need to use a candy thermometer (at least to get the crunchy ones). I just watched the video to get an idea of the timing and color of the caramel and that was it... a recipe video can't get better than that imo :D

I really like eating bukayo, last month we were planning to cook it for Christmas. When it's Christmas in the Philippines, Coconut milk and Glutinous Rice are popular like Bocarilio, Bukayo, Bico, Puto (Bung -bung, balanghoy) Bibingka and much more. Love from Philippines!!
