Brilliant behemoth + a few lost seer's lens can go crazy. The AOE of behemoth inherits lost seer's insta-kill effect, allowing it to take out multiple enemies in one attack as long as they are within the AOE. When this insta-kill AOE is triggered on a non-boss enemy, it will ignore whether or not any other enemy it hits is a boss, which bypasses lost seer's inability to insta-kill bosses. It's a very interesting interaction!
@@abcrasshadow9341both bb and lenses are great on bandit as instakills with lenses count towards desperado stacks/ lights out cooldown refreshing. And bandit already has built-in guaranteed crit, so… Basically no downside considering you strike from the back
Hellfire Tincture + Planula/Repulsion Armor Plate. Tincture damages the player by a substantial amount, but with Planula or a few Armor Plates you literally take 1 damage per tick in exchange for stacking a ton of fire DoT on nearby enemies. Extremely good on Melee Survivors like Merc or Acrid who exist near enemies for quite a while. Throw in Focus Crystals, Ignition Tanks, and Gestures, and you have yourself a fun run.
Since tincture is based on your max health, if it’s low enough you actually heal from planula And you also forgot to mention an extremely powerful item that this combo enables: razorwire

Honorable mention: Egocentrism + Everything= Pearls? Its pretty simple but it might take a while and require atleast one loop. Basically, get Egocentrism, take everything that you can, any item, as long as you hoard and let majority of the items to be converted. Then find a cleansing pool (perhaps youll need to loop for it) and then begin the trade.
One of my favorites I've run into recently is Warbanner + Gorag's Opus + Defensive Nanobots. Stacking opus with a few banners will give a huge attack speed boost to all of your drones and other allies, which also increases the projectile deletion rate of the nanobots. It's a discount drone parts, but much easier to get started, and since the attack speed also applies to your own character, you can also branch off into a bleed build or something to keep things going. It's great fun if you want to play a support role in a multiplayer run, or if you just want to have a minion build but haven't found any drone parts yet.
Hellfire Tincture + Wungus + Voidsent Flame Tincture's burn is already really good and I saw other comments talking about it + Planula and some RAPs. BUT if you have Voidsent, it get's activated on yourself (without dealing self damage) every time you get back to full life between two ticks of Tincture. This is easily achieved with Wungus and probably possible with Planula + RAPs and easily shreds any enemies around you. To add a bit more punch you could get some proc items as Voidsent has a proc coef of 1 and add in Razorwires that have a proc coef of 0.5 to the mix and you become a flaming exploding ball of razors that activate procs easily (Razorwires activate 5 times per second for 12 seconds, meaning 60 * 0.5 proc chance) Do not take Tougher Times as it can block the self damage and cancel the activation of Voidsent and Razorwires.
Another combo I like (idk the items names) is remote caffeinator with bundle of rockets and the one red item that spawns more missiles with missile abilities. I had this combo and it took an 11k health magma work from max health to 2.5k in like 2 seconds. There might have been other factors such as crits but it's still pretty good.
Use this combo with plasma shrimp and it gets ridiculous. ICBM affects bundle of rockets and plasma shrimp, so you get 9x the plasma shrimp procs. You could probably kill a worm with just one interactable with this.
Plasma Shrimp + Voidsent + Crowbar + Ceremonial Daggers has given me games where the stage just wipes itself every few seconds, but even just the shrimp and dagger is great.

I love your content and have learned so much from your tier lists even if its not always completely accurate because different items can be subjective for different characters. Another good video idea is your opinion on each character and what their alternative ability's also do. On the surface this it might look just mediocre because there are channels like woolie gaming that teach you how to play the characters. But he doesn't go into too much detail beyond the basics. So it wouldn't be a starter guide, but a intermediate guide for players like myself who really want to understand the strategies behind characters and using their moves and alt moves most effectively. Additionally risk of rain doesn't really explain stuff well for people who aren't great at stats and how the game really functions but you explain thing really well.

Stone Flux + Wax Quails. On paper, this may seem terrible. That being said it is a very good combo for a couple of reasons. Wax Quail is momentum based, not speed based. Meaning even just one quail can make you faster than just a stone flux with no movement speed items. The more quails the better. Ok, but more quails means less control. Not with stone flux. See, wax quail just gives you a momentum boosted based on the amount of stacks you have and having less speed makes your character way easier to control with less speed. Second, stone flux synergize very well with nkuhanas opinion, helfire, and even fuel array if you are running engi. These items deal damage based off of max health. More health, more damage. Stone flux also increases the amount of health you get from items normally like steak and infusion. Stone flux makes great use with razorwire and roll of pennies. Also it makes you tanky as hell.
I think the only thing I would've changed is put blast shower+either bands or safer spaces. It's relatively easy to get these items in a run since you can guarantee bands on most runs, and having blast shower in any capacity allows you control over the uptime of both of these items strong effects. It's damage, survivability, and utility rolled into one, and benefits from the presence of most items in the game while being able to stand on its own for a reasonably long time for such common items.
I only recently got into ror2, and on my like 7th run ever i got that spare drone parts + empathy cores combo, and my friends (who are MUCH more experienced at the game) were just freaking out and backseating so hard to guide me to it, i got it via drone parts on a shrine of chance and a tricorn early game, and then couldnt dream sirens call in bazaar so had to get the 1/3 to go there, it was nuts and my second win ever as well, it was very fun

Gas and Ignition tanks on artificer will always be my go to build for just fucking around. Getting to the point where one kill wipes the whole map is hilarious
Tonic's description is misleading, while the stat bonuses are sorta true its actually a multiplication bonus. Tonic does give you 70% more attack speet but it also increases the effectiveness of other items that rase attack speed by 70% meaning each syringe actually gives you 22.5% attack speed instead of the normal 15% and it does this for all of the buffs
I'm fond of the combo Gesture of the Drowned + War Horn + Royal Capacitor. All you need is 2 Gestures, or 1 Gesture and a Fuel Cell, and you can have permanent uptime on the War Horn for a constant +70% attack speed, plus firing the Capacitor off every 8 seconds too. This combo has saved my runs multiple times while going through the Eclipse difficulty levels.
Too situational. It's a B tier by itself. Requires decent mobility to get its full potential(I know about the geyser trick that to is situational), falls off without total damage items or aoe items, 10 second cooldown, has a noticeable damage reduction from far away enemies, skybox barrier and the moon arena limits this item damage, and is a bit buggy.
It's also repetitive. The gameplay loop is less fun when it changes from "kite enemies like an insane ninja" to "get high and hold E to win." I do enjoy it though.
I personally like forgive me please with gesture, knives and fuel cell. You dont need soulbound catalyst, when the equipment cooldown already is 1 sec. I also like constant tincture with a ton of razorwire.
plasma shrimp and ceremonial dagger results in some really funny loops, where if plasma shrimp kills, then the daggers spawn, and then the daggers go off to kill something, and more plasma shrinp procs spawn.
Had a run where I got a gas+ignition tank printer on stage 2 and went all in. It was a comando eclipse 4 run and I literally did no damage to enemies, but the moment I killed one literally caused a screen cleared. That combo is so busted and I’m so pissed I died on stage 5 because funny rock hit me into the abyss

Can’t leave Hellfire Tincture + Razorwire out. It’s absurd damage you don’t even need to aim, you just need to be near. Add focus crystals for added damage, or simply more razorwire to wipe the stage without having to budge an inch. Egocentrism and itself, of course. A stellar combo. Egocentrism creates damaging bombs and reduces their cooldowns, and egocentrism reduces the bombs’ cooldowns while also increasing their number. What more is there time say? I’m always on the lookout for black skull synergies, but those sorta explain themselves Copious amounts of shurikens and some attack speed, cause they effectively scale like egocentrism Stone pauldron and the garbage bin. A classic Well, frankly the only one i can think of worth mentioning is the first, but yeh
Coffee machine + fireworks + squid polyp while playing captain with the hacking beacon is a pretty strong combination and since fireworks itself has proc-coefficient, it can proc Atg, bleed and even crit too (combine with I.C.B.M to shoot out more fireworks is recommended)
Hellfire Tincture+Voidsent Flame. Voidsent will trigger off of the Tinctures self-damage, as long as you can stay at full health (which is incredibly easy with Repulsion Plate, Planula, Aegis, Topaz Brooch, or Transcendence)

If Gasoline Ignition tank combo is bad on mithrix but op on stages... just loop once for single target items. You'll wipe stages so easily there's no big rush not to.
A combo i like is just engi turrets plus bungus and aegis sheild, if you build off of that your essentially immortal within a small ( or larg with enough bungus stacks) circle
5:33 i see what you're saying but of the four possible string/missile combos, atg + plute tends to have more staying power for me, as that's the only one that can both achieve crowd control on the standard stages, *and* not lose its power at mithrix, since atgs can retarget
Definately can confirm the gas ignition combo, yesterday I was on ror2, had 17 gas, 13 ignition. Mithrix stage 1 took awhile cause I was fighting just him. Stage two with him AND his allies went instantly because I went after them and used them as my startup for infinite burning lmao.
shocked i didn't see blast shower+safer spaces+bands. it goes incredibly hard. bands cooldown is classified as a debuff, as well as safer spaces. blast shower cleanses debuffs. pair it with gesture and you're practically unkillable. the only REAL big issue is that you need a TON of gestures/fuel cells because if you want it to cleanse faster than a second you need quite a bit of each
Helfire Tincture + Razor Wire. I have gotten to a point where Razorwire will clearly literally the whole map and cause *TREMENDOUS* lag. The combo is also quite open-ended in that so many things add to the combo. Have you got on-hit effects? Razorwire has a 0.5 proc coefficient (generally quite high for AoE attacks). Do you have increased health? Your helfire now does more damage to anything that can get close.
i was able to get a Forgive Me Please + Soulbound Catalyst combo in an Eclipse run once, and it was one of my favorites ever since especially since i was lucky enough to get Ceremonial Dagger on the same run😂
Razor wire + Fire flask that self burn is the most op combo in the game on loop, cause you can literally one shot the map every second and nothing can outscale it. As much as gasoline but the thing is it'll not crash the game due to too high stack of white items.

I think you should try...Transcendence + Shrimp Missles + ICBM on a character like MUL-T or Void Fiend

The shrimp combo feels amazing on bandit, captain, and multi because they all have a shotgun like effect

Coffee machine + fireworks + squid polyp while playing captain with the hacking beacon is a pretty strong combination and since fireworks itself has proc-coefficient, it can proc Atg, bleed and even crit too (combine with I.C.B.M to shoot out more fireworks is recommended)
one combo i always like to do is sacrificial dagger + plasma shrimp
Hellfire Tincture+Voidsent Flame. Voidsent will trigger off of the Tinctures self-damage, as long as you can stay at full health (which is incredibly easy with Repulsion Plate, Planula, Aegis, Topaz Brooch, or Transcendence)
Remote Caffienator + Fireworks + Pocket I.C.B.M is nuts

You can’t actually. They don’t have a proc coefficient. Even if they did, runald’s has 0 aoe and they’re both on a 10 second cooldown
If Gasoline Ignition tank combo is bad on mithrix but op on stages... just loop once for single target items. You'll wipe stages so easily there's no big rush not to.
I love atg + plolylute + clover its just more fun to watch the regular atg's fly around
S/O to Blast Shower + Gesture + Fuel Cells + Safer Spaces and/or Bands for making you practically invincible and having no band cooldowns.
I just realized H3AD-5T V2's ground model doesn't have a red halo around the second lopsided anklet.
A combo i like is just engi turrets plus bungus and aegis sheild, if you build off of that your essentially immortal within a small ( or larg with enough bungus stacks) circle
5:33 i see what you're saying but of the four possible string/missile combos, atg + plute tends to have more staying power for me, as that's the only one that can both achieve crowd control on the standard stages, *and* not lose its power at mithrix, since atgs can retarget
11:30 I used this combo to sureme effect and now Commando, Huntress, and Artificer have cripping addictions
one of my favorite combos in the game still has to be razorfire (razorwire + hellfire tincture)

Definately can confirm the gas ignition combo, yesterday I was on ror2, had 17 gas, 13 ignition. Mithrix stage 1 took awhile cause I was fighting just him. Stage two with him AND his allies went instantly because I went after them and used them as my startup for infinite burning lmao.
Blast shower and bands is another really good combo.
Shatterspleen and tri-tip apply their own bleed so you can stack bleed twice as fast

shocked i didn't see blast shower+safer spaces+bands. it goes incredibly hard. bands cooldown is classified as a debuff, as well as safer spaces. blast shower cleanses debuffs. pair it with gesture and you're practically unkillable. the only REAL big issue is that you need a TON of gestures/fuel cells because if you want it to cleanse faster than a second you need quite a bit of each
Ignition Tank is a big part of why I think Gasoline is legit a better item than Will-o-the-Wisp on average.
Helfire Tincture + Razor Wire.
I have gotten to a point where Razorwire will clearly literally the whole map and cause *TREMENDOUS* lag. The combo is also quite open-ended in that so many things add to the combo. Have you got on-hit effects? Razorwire has a 0.5 proc coefficient (generally quite high for AoE attacks). Do you have increased health? Your helfire now does more damage to anything that can get close.

as a loader main, the one combo to rule them all is 25x focus crystal + 10-30 goat hooves
i was able to get a Forgive Me Please + Soulbound Catalyst combo in an Eclipse run once, and it was one of my favorites ever since
especially since i was lucky enough to get Ceremonial Dagger on the same run😂

Razor wire + Fire flask that self burn is the most op combo in the game on loop, cause you can literally one shot the map every second and nothing can outscale it. As much as gasoline but the thing is it'll not crash the game due to too high stack of white items.
Corrupted ATG with the Red Item that goes 3x for your rockets plus the corrupted fireworks (moded) is the best combo
blast shower + safe spaces can make you invincible
Using a healing shrine with squid turrets is the real best synergy
