How do you make it so after you use Regeneration + SHIFT-E that your character doesen't fly around? Mine just sends flying beause of SHIFT-E but yours stays still... how come?
This was before the change that mechanically altered spirit haven to do the mobility jump it does now. This is why I've begun new videos for awakening, the PvP ones are now in the works. But you can control it with mouse movement so you don't go really far. I'll cover this of course but videos take time and I've only refreshed the pve videos so far

Eh it's not a classic pve class that people would normally choose exclusively for that. But it's capable just hard work. You can always tag for pve like many do

@@Anfieldw yeah I realized that they were interrupted My combos everytime I could survived and kill em step by step sometimes i couldn't 😂 but all the way it was very fun to play this class.
@@LionSight Archer is really good at most PvE, Awk Ranger excels at spots that specifically have tanky mobs and and tight groups (AoE is an issue) so Oluns and Gyfin she's really good. She is high APM though.

Well crystals I run are PvP which are fine, there isn't a great deal of difference. Using a beast or frenzy can sustain you if you really need outside of having an infinite hp potion. You can run up absorb in the bow but I'm not sure I recommend this as necessary

I am really into the aesthetics of this class and I am looking for a class that I can become an undisputed 1v1 duelist with (of course there could be bad matchups, skill gap etc.). With the current state of Awk Ranger and further potential changes, do you see her staying as one of the top duelists? Thank you in advance!
Ranger excels at 1v1 at a high level, recent nerfs to her stamina were very harsh but it mostly effects larger fights like skirmishes. That said you can be limited against high pressure classes that don't let up meaning you can't get a moment to breathe. But all in all she remains a top duelist and doesn't fear much, with maybe hash and DK the most threatening
For end game PvP I use a dp focused set for my evasion, with harphias and hooms, special evasion but still running elkarrs and jin vipers. Any mix you feel comfortable with really, you could also consider jin hystria to help counter the recent stamina nerfs
Hey Anfield, may I ask what you are using as magic crystals ? Also, why you run evasion if your class doesn't scales with passive skills. (let's not talk about the 20% evasion buff of the e-buff cuz it's very situational) I mean I'm good with my full DR gear to be a glasscanon, but to me you are one of the best Ranger player in the world so your opinion do count for me since I learned a lot from you.
I use a defensive set for my evasion which is pretty standard nothing too fancy or out there. Evasion works for anyone willing to apply enough of it, you'll never beat your striker mystic types and maybe one day PA will eliminate unfair tankiness randomly given to some classes. The evasion buff from the ebuff is actually not something you should dismiss it makes a massive difference. With awakening ranger you build defensive accessories at end game not just ap/accuracy. So even if you're DR (which is fine and more common) you're still building narcs and eventually cadry or maybe ronaros. No amount of AP will make you SA or FG trade favourably against other classes and since we're not fast we take a lot of hits trying to get the important CC catch.
Just use seasonal gear, pen tuvala at that level mate. If you want an indepth answer feel free to ask me on stream and we can look at your stuff in detail

With Ranger buffed today I will include mouse movement again, but just like this guide explains, keep it behind you and you just ctrl -> lmb -> ctrl very quickly when inputting the skill
Not hidden but evasion is only now becoming popular among other rangers and at the time I didnt want to mislead people that just blindly copy paste add-ons
@@Anfieldw With the new crystals in a purely defensive build do you think running the parrying dagger is enough if you want to be bit more survivable or is the full sicil centaur setup mandatory for evasion on ranger? My main is tamer and I've been running evasion for a while now and it works surprisingly well with just the evasion trinket. It's substantially more tanky than DR unless I'm against an accuracy meme and I generally have the AP to kill easily if I pick my targets. I actually just swapped to test DR with the caphra event up and within an hour I wanted to swap back lol.
@@EmpyreanDreamer Parrying is the standard build for ranger with a centaur. However i think the meta will shift to what ive been trying for sometime with kutum/bs instead. I will be continuing to pvp in my compendium videos and gearing will have it's own video.

I don't run melee accuracy. I run ranged accuracy. I think you're likely confused over my tankier build which is melee evasion, this is to stack evasion against melee damage types.

I only pve in BDO and I have tested out most classes. I like meele, unfortunately ranger in my opinion is one of the worst or even the worst meele class in pve. She does good damage but is combo-heavy, small aoe, squishy, relies a lot on pre-awakening skills. Zerker, one of my favorites, does everything much better than ranger in pve in any circumstances. That being said, a great ranger player can close the gap a bit if you enjoy the class.
If you ask me every class has way too much protection. But if you want honesty I think the SA on awakening ranger which deals no damage and doesn't give giga movement is a whole lot more balanced than most classes which do those things.

Usually you blackstar the alt weapon so in your case mainhand but if you intend to god eyed then awk is better maybe

It's not a carry class it seems in arena, across all regions she's barely represented in top 100s. Would be better with premade imo

Awakening is better at 1v1 but at large scale succession ranger Vs archer can be a bit of a debate. Ranger is harder but could have higher rewards.

Better succession or awk? For all playstyle
Awakening can do most but large scale well, succ can do most but 1v1 well.
