A lot of it gets stuck to the mortar anf pestle.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a good way to remove it go the ice? Cause to me it's just stuck

Thanks for your message. I think the problem is the saffron you use. The quality is probably good but you should always keep the saffron in a jar and in fridge. If the saffron threads are too soft caused by the humidity they stick to the pestle and mortar. They should be completely dry. I hope this helps.

My saffron (from Iran) and tried lots of brands never crushes so finely. I have a stone pestle and mortar. Am I doing something wrong?

I also tried crushing saffron and had the same experience, I used a pestle and mortar that kind of looks like steel, also I was thinking it's may be because I stored mine in the refrigerator (like something to do with the chillness -causing it to become wet when grinding)so I was thinking of using a stone today, but looks like it would just be a waste of time.
