Heck Weird Al does the same in his "White and nerdy" video, he lampoons Hiphop culture but does it in a friendly way and with a Rapping capability which makes him the real deal.

It's like when someone gives his buddy crap about his clothing choice or his hairstyle. He's not trying to be mean or hurt anyone's feelings. He's clowning around in a humorous way. The suburban white kids basically made it a meme and undermined the whole thing. In the 80s. He cut my arm with a knife. I still have the scar. After our fight, believe it or not, we became good friends. One day him, me, and some other guys went to Hawaiian Gardens, into a McDonalds. One of my friends knew some black guys that were in there. They were hanging out rapping, and talking about different rap songs they wrote. Now, I didn’t know anything about rap other than what was on the radio, which at the time I never really listened to. Some here and there. Anyway, we all got to talking. Just hanging out. I actually did my first attempt at beat box, which I guess impressed everyone. Long story short on that, I’m able to produce and keep some pretty good beats. One of the black guys who did most of the rapping seemed impressed. I don’t know why lol. He was a cool guy. Anyway, after we was all getting ready to leave he gave me a demo tape of his raps. Now, for a bit I never realized just who I met and hung out with. I’ll tell you who it was now, he said to me you pretty cool for a white boy. Asked me my name. Then told me “yo, everybody calls me EAZY E. The demo had the song 8 Ball on it. I lost the damn demo over the years.
