Helena was placed into our arms on Valentines Day in China, 2001. I still am amazed at what a wonderful child she was and is. I apologize for the horrible sound.
For those who don’t have time to read all the comments and respective replies, the gorgeous “baby” is now 21. She studied art and is now in college. She admits she’s still a daddy’s girl. I think her mommy lets her think that because mom was so wonderful and loving. 😕
Haha I appreciate this but I am not currently in college. I’ll be 22 next month and I’m pursuing a modeling career! Im also currently deployed in Japan as a member of the United States Air Force Reserves.

Soo sad that it's not their biological parents who hug, embrace, feed and bond with these adorable babies..soo glad that there are others from the west who adopt them and truly love them as their children. These babies are God's children who deserve all the love and care of adults.

This is the first time I have ever wanted to comment on one of these sweet adoption videos I love, love, love the gentle way that mama seems to instinctively show love to her baby as a way to handle her, letting her see she is precious, And papa, he was the best papa ever. I loved the running commentary, some insightful, some caring and some that made me smile so big. Helena is right where she is supposed to be. and I could listen to you talk forever.

Their lives must be very dreary to find something negative to post. Love the dogs, too. I grew up in Bessemer, AL in the 60's and 70's when it was safe to live there! Currently living in Richland, WA. But I come home about once a year. Awesome video. Especially great since it was done in 2001!

Poor baby, so scared and confused. It’s a blessing that she’s young enough to forget . But I’m sure it didn’t take long for her to realise just how much she’s loved. I wonder what chaos she causes now at 16!😊💖

What does it matter how old someone is or what they weigh, these people found it in their hearts to want to love another child, adoption isn’t easy so think how committed they must have been to go through all the hoops they had to jump through: have their whole life scrutinised in finite detail. That little girl has grown into a beautiful intelligent young woman because they cared for her. How dare people make such rude ignorant comments about people the know nothing about.
