your daughter is gorgeous. I was adopted from china as well. I was the first chinese baby to be adopted by a single mother in the United States. I just wanted to say that i was touched by this story. China is a wonderful place to adopt from, becuase there are so many children who are abandoned just because of their sex, or because of a families inability to care for them. When I am an adult and am ready to have children of my own, I will undoubtably adopt from my home country. god bless

Respecting yes. She never needs to feel thankful though. She did not choose to be taken from her homeland and raised in a different culture. We chose that for her and WE are the thankful ones. Thankful that she loves us, thankful that she is a blessing in our lives! She need not be thankful for anything more than the average child needs to be thankful for.
@@colleenmaier4462 sorry for my English by thanking you i mean that she understands the way of life you have given her, because some adoptive children, wish they were still living in china. Myself, i am thankful to my 2 grown ups, mother’s day i give them gifts thanking them to make me a mother
@@shamseshamousa no need to be sorry! I understood but I want to always make sure people understand that adoptive children do not owe us anything. Too many of them grow up feeling that they DO owe us!
