- Follow along as I take $1.49 pinch clamp and make a awesome welding strong hand for stabilizing parts while tack welding. It’s a simple idea and for the low budget it works perfect! Appreciate the follow’s and the likes!!!
I learned not to use a regular drill bit on thin metal the hard way, this is extremely good advice.
Always, always use a step drill in thin metal if you can.
Always fun watching your stuff. Thanks again for the smiles.
Rob, Rob, Rob. I enjoy the tips, but I wish that I had millions so I could watch your tune ups on my race team. Really nice to see you in action. Met you personally thru Jim Campbell several years ago.
Right on!
Smart, low budget solution for a job, Rob.
Excellent work.👍🏼
Appreciate bud!
Welcome back, definitely missing your informational videos!
Appreciate it!
Great idea! It inspired an alternative method. I'll copy it but put a square hole at the clamp end and use a square bar so that I don't have to weld the clamp end. That'll allow me to adjust the distance from the clamp by sliding it in and out and it won't try to roll over on me while under pressure.
GTSY ROB...VERY COOL! THANK YOU
Good to be seen!!
Yup,,,,gota make me some. Love the idea..
Your video is so informative and inspiring to me. Keep uploading video Rob, i believe your channel gonna be big one

@@robwendland I've been down the cancer road myself. Five years in and cancer free. Hang in there, you'll be fine.

Alternate title: Putting $149.00 of labor into a $1.49 clamp.
Looks like a tool you'll get a lot of use out of for many years to come. Nice job.

You bet! More on the way!
Perfect!

Finally!!!!!!! A new video ha ha.
Appreciate it! I’ll explain my absence. Health issues. But ready to rock!
Don't have to explain anything to me bro. Hope all is better
Hey Rob, Holy smokes!! It’s nice to see a new upload!! I have been praying my tail off for you and the kids. You look great!! Take it slow though, ( if you know how lol) I see Terry is running a limited schedule, are you by chance gonna tune for him??
Could also add a sleeve the short support and add a pinch bolt and make the length adjustable
Good idea!
Did you make the table with the holes? I could use a large table like that for some of my fab projects.
Great MacGyvering. Looking at the flat bar tube had me wondering why you didn't canabilize the spring and make the two part clamp over in that. ✌ 😃
Just way too much work. Spring mount plus it’s already loaded. Thanks for watching!
Hey Rob.
What is that small band saw mounted to ? Thanks for another great video; haven't heard from you in awhile.
Harbor freight table saw table
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Who the heck makes an air manifold out of square tubing? I guess they're going to figure this out the hard / expensive way.
Works well. Low pressure high volume. Has been in service for several years. Not a critical Application. But I know exactly what you’re talking about.
where's the nitro?!
Geez! Hang on! 🤣🤣
@@robwendland You got me addicted to the madness. 93 pump, e85 or c16 doesn't fix me up anymore. Need those extra oxygens, and oh that smell. IT'S ALL I CRAVE!!
