- Follow along as we do some safety updates on this 8000 hp margarita mixer. It’s official name is the Nitro Blender. In this video we are making some safety restraints for the blower drive system and the blender drive system. We just want to make sure that if something has a failure that it will be contained so we will be working with titanium plate and chrome moly tubing. Thank you all for watching!
Perfect margarita recipe:
2oz tequila
1oz triple sec
2oz Sourmix
1/2oz fresh lime juice
1/2oz grand marnier
12gal nitromethane

I got a free jet drop band saw. And after hours of tuning.. I got some amazing cuts/fit up. I thought for sure I wasn't gonna get a true cut outta it but boy I was wrong!! Love the content!!

I thought about building a top fuel blender 20 years ago out of one of my windowed KB motors to sell margaritas at drag races but my lawyer and not having a liquor licence in every town they race in squelched that idea, PLUS fuel, oil, plugs, ice, booze, mix, towing, motels, bruton smith vender booth costs, etc a 20oz margarita would cost a customer $100 a pop so drag racing attendance falling off the last 10 years i decided to drop that idea.

The Un-Official Skeet Shooting Margarita recipe courtesy of my good friend the late John Jisonna is:
To a blender jug add
1 small can frozen Lime-Aide concentrate
Fill the small can with your favorite “Gold”:Tequila
1/2 small Lime-Aide can of your choice of Triple Sec/Curaco/Cointreau/Grand Marnier
1&1/2 Small Lime-Aide cans of ice cold Corona Extra Beer
Fill the blender jug with ice install the lid and engage the warp drive
To serve rim each glass (solo cup) with juice from a fresh lime slice, then fill with that frozen concoction that helps you hang on” garnish with a fresh slice of lime and enjoy. Note a shot of Tequila carefully poured on top as a floater is optional. Lastly if Strawberry, Watermelon, Honeydew, Mango, etc are desired make sure to freeze the fruit for 12 to 36 hours before hand after you have washed, stemmed, and cut into small chunks and be sure to save and freeze and of the juices from the fruit. Personally I like to freeze my fruit using dry ice by laying a layer of ice cubes to large ice chest, and then lay disposable aluminum roasting pans on the ice (separate pans for each fruit type) then place the cut up fruit in the roasting pans along with chunks of dry ice and then cover with a doubled up layer of aluminum foil and a couple towels. I'm a little confused about the carbon fiber wrap over titanium. The wrap is normally used to make something cheap look expensive, but here it's sort of doing the opposite? (I could make you some real nice molded carbon fiber panels...)
The titanium was used for containment in case one of the pulleys or the belt came apart. There’s a lot of carbon fiber panels on the mixer so we just put some wrap on it real quick I didn’t have time to do like a key Foss or something

@@robwendland we used to run a pro mod drag boat and the police were always showing up at my buddies house... he had one of those neighbors that were always in you shit so he would make sure to warm it up in the driveway before we went out for a race weekend.
I love the concept of putting a cheap carbon fibre looking sticker on titanium... "Yes its kinda cringe i put the sticker on it to make it look all carbon fibre and cool, but its titanium so it is already pretty cool"

I seen them get in trouble with that at an nhra race. I believe it was the us nationals and nhra didn't the to kindly of it being fired up at like 11 pm at night.
They can't do anything though if you aren't a competitor.
