I had to chuckle when you said you were surprised to see that issue on a Jeep with 60K miles. I have a 2016 and it is a hunk of crap. LOL!!! The Jeep plastic oil filter housing cracked and needed replacement at 75k. The belt tensioner pully had to be replaced at 55k. The front ball joints were shot at 70k....and more. I'm a hunter but not an "off roader", and this crap mobile is a hunk of junk in my humble opionion. But I have to say 118k until a fuel injector went bad. Love it but hate it in the same breathe 😅. Thanks for your time in making the video.
LOL, mine has under 60k miles, and I've had to replace the oil cooler, O2 sensor, PCV, plugs, coils, both batteries, CPS, and all of them are in ridiculous places with hoses and pipes running right on top of the bolts so you have to remove about 10 things just to get to them.
Jumping on this bandwagon. Total garbage these vehicles are. I have a 2014 and have alway maintained it tip top. Nothing but problems. Never have I ever owned another vehicle that needed these BS repairs. Oil cooler housing, cam shafts and rocker arms, PCV valve, camshaft and crank position sensors, wheel speed sensors, now a rear main seal leak and a P0303 code that will not go away. I’m done with jeep. Come on. Build a f’n vehicle the right way and stop cutting corners. What they are asking now for new jeeps is comical and criminal at the same time. Never again. Still have a P0303 code and guess I’ll have to try the fuel injector route since it’s on the list of 15 possible things and you have to do a process of elimination. Unreal. Getting a Toyota next.
@@tdz69 I guess I have a "lemon" then. I have a 2014 JKU and have never had an issue with it except usual maintenance cost. I have over 150K on it and I take it off-road overlanding at least 3 times a year. It has been reliable for me right next to my 3rd gen taco.
on most misfire codes its the main large harness connector that sits on top of bank 1. it houses the wiring for coil packs and possibly the injectors I believe. the tabs are known for bending and or being vulnerable to water getting in there. make sure all tabs are straight and hit them ALL with dielectric grease. chances are that will solve the problem with low mileage cars with 3.6L
My wrangler makes the same rattle noise heard at the end of the video no codes, what could be the problem? We replaced the rocker arms and lifters (none were bad) thinking it could be it.
@andypastore3299 fuel injectors are 166$ a piece for this jeep. Although the route I will go is upgrade the lower intake manifold seen here to the gen 2 PUG, and replace injectors with gen2 being 35$ a piece. Much cheaper and doing it myself.
All parts where purchased from my local Orielly Auto Parts. In Texas all they need is ur license plate # and they will get u the correct parts needed to fix ur ride. Thanks for watching.

My Fiancés 2015 wrangler just had $1,800 worth of repairs done at 120k. They’re junk

I have a 2016 JK and have had none of these problems. 97K miles on the Jeep currently.

Is there a way to drain the fuel rail ahead of time? Removing the relay and starting until the engine dies out?

Did you change all 6 or just that one
We are going through this now.
I would replace all. While you're in there
Our estimate is $1300.00, so spend a little more. To have them all new
@@MrGoatman07 $1300.00? for what exactly?

How funny, I have 67k miles and am hitting the exact same issue 😂
NO WAY SAME😂😂 gotta do it on my moms jeep
Where you located in Tx brother
Awesome video
Thanks!
How did you disconnect the fuel rail?
If I remember correctly it has a push pin that has to be pushed in and then it will release.
Can you provide a link to the intake gasket set? And or any other items required to per the injector replacement as you have shown.

Can the fuel injectors be changed out without taking that whole injector assembly apart?
@@TopNoTchVSOPthere’s a video on UA-cam where a guy did just this.
You really don’t show how it came out ?
Thanks for watching. Kind of a last minute video when I had to pull it back apart.
Thanks bud!
Thanks for watching.
Gas is crap anyway
